Another 'Because I will never write it...'

Because I will never write it in full and proper [and because I honestly don't have anything beyond the starting premise] here's another story idea I have.
Ok, set up is this.

This is/was a major fandom work back in the day as one of the earlier show-like animations so if you haven't seen it, watch it and if you have you probably haven't watched it in a while so watch it.

At the end when the phone rings is where it starts [and basically all I have]

Octavia: *answers phone from private number, not Vinyl* Hello? Octavia speaking.
Vinyl: Hey, Octy. Listen, don't hang up. This isn't me trying to sorry. I know that's not what you wanna hear right now. I am sorry, but that's not what this is about.
Octy: *sighs* What is it then Vinyl? *obviously annoying and probably going to hang up without a good answer*
V: So here's the deal. I need you to come down to the PVPD and post bail for me.
O: …
V: oh crap did you hang up? *lower, off of phone* Hey that one phone call thing is a myth right? I can still call my lawyer right?
O: I'm still here Vinyl. Wha-why-... how did...? Should I even ask what you did.
V: Maybe. That depends. Would it make you happy or pissed off [not sure if Vinyl would say that] if I said it weas because I got in a fight with the bouncer not letting me in to your show?
O: Even after hearing it I'm unsure. *sighs* But, yes, I'll come bail you out. But we're still not friends anymore. And you're paying me back.
V: Can I pay you back by just having the court refund you when I show up to my trail?
O:
V: Ok, I'm pretty sure she actually hung up this time.
