Ponyfeather Publishing Release: bookplayer's Lost Time · 6:49pm Jan 21st, 2019

I can be really bad about announcing things and then maybe not exactly actually making them happen. (Anybody who's been following me for long enough may feel a sense of The Dash Who Cried Wolf when I talk about a fic I'm working on, and rightly so.) I very much didn't want to do that with Ponyfeather Publishing, so I didn't tell you about it until it was actually ready to go! Ha ha!

It is my great pleasure to announce that Ponyfeather Publishing's inaugural title is Lost Time by bookplayer. (Special thanks to Nadnerb for providing cover art capturing the moment Dash realizes just how much time she's lost.)

I have been a fan of bookplayer's work since I first read Best Young Flyer over (god) six years ago. In between then and now, I took a break from pony; I checked in most every day to try to stay abreast of what people were up to, though I didn't really read anything, just skimmed blog posts in my newsfeed. I'd had a bad week and happened to log onto FIMFic the day bookplayer uploaded the last chapter, so I figured I'd give it a read. I ended up reading it in one sitting, and was so glad I'd dipped my toe back in the waters of ponyfic.

I know I'm not the only one who feels this way, because bookplayer's fans voted Lost Time into the Royal Canterlot Library's 2017 Correct the Record post.

If you'd like a free ebook copy, they're available at ponyfeatherpublishing.com. (If you have any trouble with them, let me know! I've tested them as best I can, but I don't have access to every ereader on the market.) Note that the PDF and print editions are forthcoming—we're waiting to see what happens with the BronyCon bookstore—but for now, here's a sneak peek at what those will look like.

I hope you all enjoy, and I'll be back soon with the next PFP release!

I'm honored, and your work is amazing! (Nadnerb's too!) Ponyfeather Publishing is such an exciting project, and I'm proud to be a part of it.

Oh sweet! Have loved this one ever since I first read it, and I look forward to the print version being a thing :o

Congrats on the launch! I'd say this community owes bookplayer one for luring you back. :raritywink:

Now that's how to start off right. :D
