Any group will always find extreme members.

Personally, I feel that the worst tend to be the ones with the mindset of, "If you're not with us, you have to be against us," and refuse to accept anyone who is either neutral or indifferent.

The problem with nearly any group is the loudest are usually the most extreme believers. Which leads to the group in question looking more like extremist in stead of trying to make a change.
