Dead Music Links in Sora's Misadventures in Equestria · 6:55am Jan 6th, 2019
Ok...So, I'm a little bit livid. Those who have followed my Kingdom Hearts crossover fanfic may have noticed that some, if hopefully not all links in the latest chapters, or even early ones if you're new to this story, led to dead links where the Youtuber who had those extended songs of KH songs took out the video/playlist. I did notice some of the videos a few days ago had been taken down, which worried me as some of the blank spots I was able to recognize, I used links to those songs a few times. Now, I was just informed all the links from that same Youtuber were all gone, and a majority of them were the better orchestral versions of the songs in the 1.5 and 2.5 final mix soundtracks. Now, all the chapters in the story with songs from those playlists are dead, and it is going to be an absolute nightmare trying to remember which songs I used if I have to re-edit those links with the same songs, but with a different link. This person still has the videos, but I don't know why the playlists were taken down, and trying to look for them all through their uploads is a nightmare with how many videos they have on their channel.
I'm thinking of either go through editing hell and go through all the chapters with those dead links with different ones with the same music, if I can remember which ones were best suited for the events in each chapter, or get rid of them and lose the ambiance I wanted to do for this story to give you all a feel to the moments when you listen to the songs I found that fit perfectly in different scenes. I really, really don't want to do the latter after all the hard work I did, especially now that I'm feeling bummed out after learning about this now. If anyone wants to help me out with fixing this up, I would appreciate it. I don't know if it's possible to have anyone else help edit these links, but if anyone does know, run me through it so I can fix up those links.
Sorry again for the lack of music for possibly a majority of the story because of these dead links, and I hope, even without the KH soundtracks playing in the background for the story, it's still enjoyable to read.
As a precaution, add the songs to your own playlist, so you know where they are.

I didn't really think I needed to do that, but I'll do that so that doesn't happen again. But, if I'm gonna have to put in new links, finding them all just through their uploaded videos or even searching all the titles is gonna be a pain with how tedious the page extends slowly after every twenty or so videos when scrolling down. And the problem of recalling which songs I used is an issue after that, but I'm just gonna wing it and go through each chapter, find the broken links, and try guessing which ones fit best. Thanks for the advice.

I could try to help out finding the songs your looking for after work today or on my days off work. Plus it never hurts to have back up in cases of something like this happening again so you don't have to always worry about doing it yourself Codex.

Thanks, but out of all the chapters, including the one I'm stuck on at the moment because of this issue, trying to find the remastered versions of the songs while also remembering which ones go for which scene is gonna take me so long. I would have to resort to using the original soundtracks since one other youtuber's playlists are still around. He ironically does have the remastered versions, but only with some songs or ones that were added into the final mix games, not all of them.
