I wonder where to even start this one... I guess I'll start with the personal/life stuff. Work has been more of the same stuff, it's been a long time in the works, many false promises and things needing to change. But, until I fully know EXACTLY what's going to happen, I figure I shouldn't get my hopes up. I'm not as stressed out, as the busy season is now over and we slowly roll into the winter months.
On a side note, my personal Discord Server has been bustling with activity! If you're one of my hardcore fans, or even just want a place to talk to me, or other like minded people. Do not hesitate to join us there! We have tons of chats, even a few Rp servers! I'm honored that I have a great group of people who believe in me, want me to do better and love my stories. It brings a smile to my face even now as I write this. Here is a link for it!
On there, I've met my closest friends. Grown my bonds with people like I've never had before, and I'd like to take the time now to give one of them a proper mention. Without him, I'd honestly have scrapped this Kiva story a long time ago. He's been the best friend someone could ask for, constantly sacrificing sleep and sanity to help me. That is a man, by the name of Duskhoof! A very talented writer of his own, he's helped me a lot with Drilling the Captain. And, vice versa, I've been trying to help him with his own story Fo:E Scoundrels.
It would mean the world to me, if you, reading this right now could give that story a click, read a chapter or two and give it a thumbs up or down. Depending if you liked it or not. He works very hard on it, and I MAY OR MAY NOT have a little idea in the works, featuring one of his characters! (You'll know who I'm talking about when you meet her!) He always accepts constructive feed back, and enjoys people finding the little hints and stuff he drops in each chapter. It's like playing a mystery game while reading!
Anyways, moving onto what you're all expecting to hear from me. A status update. When is the Kiva story coming?! Very, VERY soon! It's almost November second, so less than a month till the first chapter drops. I've got my fingers crossed I can have it all done before it's over, if not, then it might extend into December. Reason being, was the whole work thing going on.
Also! Mark December 25th, 2018 on your calendars. You're getting another Hearths Warming story, featuring Tempest naturally! People on my server voted for it, and they want to see a follow up! I got a few ideas brewing, so that's going to happen. You might get one more story before the end of the year, probably right at the strike of midnight into the new year. But until that comes closer, I can't say much...
The Key, Ballad of my Heartstrings, and lastly A Sparkle of Love... What do I say about these. I haven't forgotten them, not by a long shot. I'll look in the new year at what I can do with these, one of them might have to go. And if I'm to be honest? It's looking like The Key. Let me know which one you'd like to see make a comeback in the new year below!
That should be all I feel I have to say right now. I'd also like to thank my editor BlazingMoon from the bottom of my heart. Not only has he put up with me so far, (It's almost been a year) he continues to be involved in my stories and I'm glad to have him on board. If you're reading this, thank you my friend... For everything. Now I must go and edit chapter 1 of the Kiva story, one down and a few more to go. Until then, see you in the next update! ~Syn
