I had an idea that Luna decided to leave the world of Equus.
This is what I wrote.
I also have an idea for the next chapter too.
Every time the sun rose there would be a reminder of my hated sister.
No, I need to go further.
Underground?
Feh, I will not live like a worm! I want to feel the cool night breezes when I fly.
Wait, I know one who could help me get away. No, he's untrustworthy.
We should've killed him when we had a chance.
Must decide soon, the sun will rise soon. Am getting tired of blocking my sister's scanning spells.
Fine, I will deal with this traitorous creature. Maybe I can offer him a deal that he can't resist?
I flew to the sculpture garden to the stone form of Discord.
If my rage was not so overwhelming, I would've gave up and returned to my sister, tail and ears drooping.
NO!
Luckily, I knew a spell that would temporarily reverse the petrification. Too bad it would suck up most of my power.
Again, I wondered if this was worth it. My burning rage thundered yes.
I walked up to the statue and did the spell. Almost fell on the ground, the power drain was immense.
Life returned to Discord as the grey fled.
"Well, now, this is interesting. The younger sister thinks she can defeat me all by herself. Well, Woona what do you have to say," Discord said while peering at me.
My ears went back on my head as my anger grew. My nickname shouldn't be on the tongue of this foul creature!
"I need a boon from you Discord." With great difficulty, I forced my ears to go forward.
Discord arched his back and scratched himself. "Ahh, that felt good. What, you're still here? Should we get on with some fighting or something?"
"No fighting, I want a boon from you," I said. Didn't know how long before Discord turned back to stone. Must get my wish before that.
"Don't you know you should bring an offering to the Devil before you ask for something?" Discord said and again peered at me.
"Your gift is that you're not stone. Also you're getting some entertainment," I said. Cursed creature, give me what I want! I must relax.
Discord looked away from me and at his claw like he'd never seen it before. "Fine, what do you want, Woona?"
I couldn't help it. I pawed at the ground like a common pony. Feh! "I need to leave Equestria very soon."
Discord sighed. "A sharp dagger or a fall from a great height would do that!"
"I wish to be alive when I leave," I said, barely resisting my urge to paw the ground again. This. Cursed. Creature. Please give me what I want.
"Well, I did a bit of traveling among different worlds. Found a tiresome one that was shrouded in darkness. No moon. An ancient evil plucked it from the sky like an eye," Discord said then lunged forward until his face was next to mine.
I resisted the urge to step back. Again, my doubts rose up. Should've listened to them.
"Yes, yes, you would do fine on such a world. You've defeated little ol me. Woona, the wonderful. Have a nice trip!" He snapped his claws and things went black.
I woke up on a dark plain below a sky full of alien stars...
Yeah, I have an idea how to roll with this story.
I already did a first person story from Luna's perspective.
So, I could do this, but I'm too busy.
It was actually a very beautiful idea. If I wasn't bogged down, I would've written something for it myself.

This is how I was going to roll:
Luna gets snatched up by a being called the Despiser.
He tells Luna to bring a message to the council of wizards.
The king of the Fanged Dark got the Creation Staff lost by the Maker God.
To make things worse, Anhui'nacht also is searching for the Unmaking Stone.
If he gets his paws on that, things will go really badly. Even the Despiser fears for his life, but he doesn't say that. Luna has a suspicion that the Despiser's life would also be threatened.
Then the Despiser drops Luna outside a town. Unfortunately, the Despiser has made the sun deadly to thinking creatures so Luna bursts into flames.
She deals with the flames and passes out.
When she wakes up, Luna sees humans.
Eventually, she is escorted to the Mage council and they decide if Luna is a servant of the Despiser or telling the truth.
Oh yeah, the moon has been hidden by the Despiser.
Luna can draw on its power.
If I was writing this story, I would be using different terms instead of Mage Council.
I can write the second chapter and put that in a blog too.
Already went over the dialog and everything.
When the good guys win, Luna has a choice to return home or stay.

Hm... I don't know much about the canon lore yet... Was some of that information revealed in Season 7, or is that personal head-canon with new characters?

Luna has left the building, um, world.
It would be all new creatures or people.
If I wanted, I could have kirin (some sort of dragon species).
Of course if they talked and acted like people, they're people.
Then again, I could go with humans.
What if Luna thought that humans are stupid brutish creatures?
That's what's in Bulfinch's Mythology.
What if these humans lived in such harmony with the land, they could coax light from certain wood without burning it?
Others with an affinity with stone could make stones radiate warmth.
Stone and branch suffer under the Despiser's never ending malice, but they endure the best they can.
Anyway, just some ideas.
There's a good chance people will bitch that my story is not MLP anymore and the serial numbers should be filed off.
I'm not writing another Equestria under siege story for a while, did sooo many of those.
