    Bookish Delight (FINAL)

    (sort of)

    Hey, folks. This thing on?

So I was originally trying to write this big essay blogpost about where I've been and the future of Bookish and all that, but... it didn't pan out. So we'll do the much, much shorter version that should still tell you what's important.

    WELCOME TO THE FUTURE

Did you think it was over

...yeah, that's fair, so did I. Still need to talk about that when I'm able. Until then...

    ELa Famille Royale
The Zephyr Heights royals just helped change the world. Unfortunately, this isn't the first time they've done so, and they'll have to answer for that... just as soon as they work on themselves.

    Question For the Crowd!

What, in your opinion, are Equestria's most significant locations? (i.e. Canterlot, Cloudsdale, etc.)

Please keep it to... oh, top 7, and excluding Ponyville/the Everfree Forest.

Thanks to all who answer!

JUNIPER LOVE TIME #3 · 6:14pm Aug 11th, 2018

Reason #96: 'Cause you're so money and you don't even know it

It's been an entire year and I've decided I don't want the Juniper Montage group I founded to just gather dust! So if you've been turned on to the character, by way of my stories or otherwise, go ahead and join her ranks!

It's hard to figure out just what to do for a character who's only had two episodes, but... meh? I'll figure out something in the midst of continuing to write stuff for her. :pinkiehappy:

You know, I just might write a story featuring her. In the future, though, I still have a crapton of other stories I have planned. :pinkiehappy:

ahaha <3

People were writing stories about Trixie when she only had one appearance to her name. Can't nothin' stop you if that's what you wanna do. :twilightsheepish:

Sure, why not. She's adorable af.

But I don't like Juniper Montage.
She's a whiny, self-entitled brat, and a sociopath to boot.

I seem to remember a certain someone else going along that path.

EDIT: It's also posts like this that reaffirm my stance that nobody in this fandom understands what a "sociopath" truly is.

Glad she's getting some love at least. Count me it :pinkiehappy:

"Juniper Love Time" always makes me think of the Minute of Hate. :B

You think about holding a contest for stories with her and wallflower in them?

Like the man said

Like...given how busy I am right now I can't make any promises? But I'm a member now and if/when I finally do write an EqG story you can bet your butt Juniper's going to be there front and center; you've made her potential so crystal-clear to me that she couldn't not be.

persistent antisocial behavior, impaired empathy and remorse, and bold, disinhibited, and egotistical traits.

"I'm a glorified intern but I feel I'm qualified to act the lead role in a multimillion dollar film, and destroy it when I don't get my way."
"Literally nobody else matters but me."

I at least did what I did out of love for my fellow pony.

Nope, you're still ignorant here, and undeserving of using the first person.

You're comparing a chronic mental condition to a teenage girl making a stupid decision, and who got pissy at the people who called her out on that decision later on. Like a kid. Yet she was clearly smart enough to stop her shit the moment someone decided to let her know there was a better path out there, and offer companionship where she had none.

Even (the real) Starlight doesn't deserve the term. Don't compare sociopathy with run-of-the-mill childhood mistakes. Thus I say again: diagnosing characters by looking solely at isolated purported "crimes" and doing a quick google search rather than examining the entirety of their character as well as looking at related psychological/social data and statistics is a plague in this fandom. Don't catch it.

(Christ, it was Starlight who empathized with Juniper and talked her out of her funk. I'm trying to stay calm here, but seeing stuff like this is really annoying.)

Mk.
Edit; that comes off not quite as intended. I don't particularly enjoy being dismissed out of hand and being accused of not giving a matter full diligent thought.
Or the implication I'm stupid for a differing viewpoint.
