Birds, church bells, ocean waves, wind rustling leaves: many locations can be defined by their sounds. Through great misfortune, the inner harbor area appears to be a continuous rush of emergency vehicles. And an armada of motorcycles. And firehose thunderstorms.

But BronyCon went on, mostly oblivious, sheltered, a weird and unique world, and for a third time I was blessed to be included. No detail report this like Nightmare Nights, no special stories like last year, just a quick note of thanks on the convention’s final morning to those who gave a damn and talked with me. And there were quite a few new ones to take the places of those who were missed.

Not everything worked as planned, far from it, but it worked nevertheless. The Book has more autographs. The two panels I attended yesterday were quite entertaining. When posted make sure to watch Amy Keating Rodgers play the ukulele. The Gala capped off the evening and my $25.38 thrift store ensemble suffered no wardrobe malfunctions. Should you ever attend the convention, make sure to go to the Gala and enjoy the silliness even if, like I, you’d never set foot on a dance floor.

The real world now waits for me and it will be a bummer to rejoin it knowing I have no more pony events planned for the year. Yet I don’t think I would skip the high just to avoid the low. Perhaps next next year I will see you here.

As always, thanks for reading.

The ice cream was good but the real treat was your company. Thank you, my friend!

Thank you. We can get together next year and solve the world’s problems like we did last night as well as count the number of folks who stop by the shake your hand.

It was cool to meet you there!

Thank you so much! It is indeed a joy to see the real people, the real readers. It makes me think you folks are not the electronic hallucinations I supposed you were. :pinkiecrazy:
