I've been pretty busy with non-writing things and commissions lately, but between all that I found the time to poke out another story that I'll be posting next week. It's probably my last longer ponystory - at least for a while - because I've got a lot of other personal projects on my mind right now. It's not super long by my standards... 90Kish words, give or take. It's sort of a messy crossover, although it borrows mainly concepts from another series and puts them into MLP. The title will give it away pretty much immediately.
Also the barn place where I work with horses and stuff is starting a nonprofit for underprivileged kids, so that's pretty cool. I'm hoping to help out with it and seeing what we can do for animals and humans alike.
The next project I take on will either be another entry into the Valk universe, or Fablar, which will be a magical animal world story that will, of course, turn into something utterly convoluted and horrible because I'm me. It'll be fun, though. I've got a lot planned out and I can mish-mash a lot of the concepts I've played with here and there in my writing together for it. I should also write the next entry to Valk at some point and get another book published but I find it hard to motivate myself to.
I am subsumed by horses.
Crossovers aren't usually my thing, but this sounds interesting.
