There's some good news! My sister approached the apartment office today, and they worked out a payment plan with her. She already managed to pay off what she owed, and they gave her until the 15th to pay the upcoming month's rent.
A few months ago, I started a GoFundMe to help pay off my rent. Thanks to the support I got, I was able to pay off what I owe. There was a brief stretch of time there where I was once again at the threat of an eviction, but I was able to get that settled.
Now there is a situation more egregious than my own.
A band known as Underlord performs a series of black magic rituals in the form of rock concerts in an attempt to summon a primordial deity. Pink Scorch will stop them for $6.50.
Pink Scorch stepped forth just as the beast, much like herself, took on a new form. Its body had a weird egg-shape with stout legs. When it turned to face her, four iridescent eyes glowered at her. It opened a ring-shaped mouth, revealing rows upon rows of teeth, and its tongue shot out.
Hey, you remember that little fic I wrote nearly three years back and was the reason why I garnered so many followers at once? Yeah, well that fic now has a sequel!
Twi, a filly, an explorer, a leader, a warrior, a queen, a pirate captain, and a corporate lawyer. She's talented when it comes to magic, is book smart, and has defeated fear. Life for Twi is simple, and that's the way she likes it.
Or so that's what she thinks.
She much prefers reading a book than spending time with friends. She loves to play games with children, but much prefers making up the rules herself. Now she's almost ten years old, and soon she'll be ready to walk down the neverending line of progression.
But against her will, of course.
So far it's not doing so well in ratings (the story above mine on the New Story list has gotten over a hundred views and far more attention then Twi has. smh) I want this to be my best fic, and I also actually want to finish this. But I can't do that unless I know that people are actually reading the story. If the story does a good job, I will continue to update it constantly. It took me an entire month to write the first chapter alone. So please, make it feel like all that effort was worth it.
