Blog Post Thing

First things first.

Hi people who either one, follow me and were alerted to this blog . . . post . . .thing, or two, found this by accident somehow, to those people, welcome! I am Storm Quill, and this is my first blog thing ever, so I'm kind of winging it as it were.

There are two main reasons I'm writing this, first, I've never had a blog, and I think that having a place to write where tens of people can read it will be a neat experience. The second reason is to give occasional story and life updates to the, like, 5 people who follow me, so they can get updates on this story. My biggest fear when reading an ongoing fanfic is that the person will just go silent, no updates, no explanation, nothing. I swore when I uploaded the first chapter of this story that I wouldn't let it just hang in limbo forever, I wanted to get chapters to who ever read this as fast as possible.

To that end, I have failed spectacularly.

I recently wrote a horror story for an Equestriadaily.com contest, where I was able to write 2600 words in under a week, and yet "A Magical Storm" still sits at four chapters for over a month. That is atrocious, I guess I'm writing this blog post to apologize to those who have been waiting, I promise I have not forgotten you, and I will get that next chapter up before the end of the month

So with that overdue apology out of the way, I would like to grovel at the hooves of you wonderful ponies, and beg that you show your friends my story.

Think of it this way, when more people read it, I'll feel more guilty for not working on it, and thus you will see an increase in release rate.

See, everypony wins in the end right?

In that case, could you delightful people just do me a solid and tell your friends anyway.
