Just a little blog post to let you know what's going to be happening with The Secret of Motherhood. For a while now I've been re-reading the past chapters, just to keep myself on track with all the little things that have happened in the story. While doing this I've noticed a massive discrepancy from the first few chapters to how I write now. The difference is sort of night and day, so much so that it makes me ache a little inside to look at it.
Well, I'm going to remedy this. Along with all my other one-shots, which will be coming back don't worry. I've got 5 ideas in the works and two are 50-75% complete. Welcome to Family is also going to be continuing, hopefully soon. I kind of dropped the ball on that and I apologise. Again I'm about halfway done with the next chapter but for some reason my brain just stalled. It does that. Anyway, off that tangent. Along with all that stuff, I'm going to be going through and editing the earlier chapters of The Secret of Motherhood. Absolutely nothing major will change plot wise so if you don't want to read back it will be completely fine. I just want to make them a little less bare bones is all for anyone new coming to the story. I'm not about to let something less than my best lie if I can do something about it. I've done the first chapter already and I'll basically just keep going until I reach a point where I'm satisfied with what's already there.
That's it really, just wanted to keep everyone in the loop. Thank you to everyone who comments, likes, favourites, reads or even just shows interest and tracks the story. It's grown far bigger than I ever really imagined it would, both with the likes and attention its gotten as well as the story in general. My plan is still very much in place, some bits are just inflating themselves. Anyway, I'll let you all go and get on with your days. I wish you all the best. Bai!
I was wondering if you were ever going to continue Welcome to the Family because, as you may or may not know, I ship Twilight and Starlight and there aren’t many multiple chapter fanfics about the pairing.

Yep, I will. I can't give you a time frame because my head just does not work like that. I'll do my best though. I really liked that fic, It won't be particularly long but there's a lot that I can still explore with it.

As long you continue it then I don’t care if you can provide time frame. I wouldn’t be one to talk anyway since my update schedule is basically ‘I’ll update the story whenever I get around to doing it’.

Hahaha, yep I know that feeling. Mine is basically whenever my brain decides to stop breeding plot bunnies and actually get on with what it was supposed to be doing. That's just how it goes I guess. Speaking of which, thanks for reminding me that I need to finish reading Nightmare Remnant... Let me just get on that now.

I will absolutely not. My soul is already beholden to 20 different hells so another is a bit of a stretch. In all seriousness, Nah I think I'll be fine. It won't take super long and once I start I pretty much have to finish that chapter within a day or two. I'll also be continuing the story while I go. If anything this will just help me with any annoying bouts of writer's block.
