For the Moon so Loves the World finally finished!

Life has been so busy and crazy lately I haven't had much time for writing, but I really wanted to finish this story. I already knew how I wanted it to end, I just had to get it all down.

I got inspired to write this story when I saw a top ten list on youtube about natural disasters. One of them was a comet hitting the earth, and then an idea popped to mind.

What would happen in the MLP universe if Equestria faced this danger?

I started doing some research about what would happen to the earth if a comet hit, and what would happen to the earth if the sun and the moon were destroyed. It was actually pretty interesting.

Then I had the thought, what would happen to Luna if a comet hit the moon?

Thus, I got the idea for this story. I came across the song in the Epilogue by sheer chance, but I thought the lyrics fit, so I added it in. I think it set the mood for the whole story nicely, as what happened with the sisters really was sad, beautiful, and tragic.

I knew I wanted the sisters to be back together in the end, but since the others still lost them both, I knew the ending would be more bittersweet than a truly happy one. Still, at least in the end they were all able to move on with their lives, or after lives, and be with people they loved.
