    Rarity Plum(?)

    Hi,

I remember thinking this when I saw the movie of 'One for the Money', but I recently bought the DVD, and now I'm really, really just can't stop imagining it -

    PonyMail

    Hi,

For almost the whole of the episode (Wonderbolt Academy), I was thinking 'that Pinkie Pie, she's so weird, worrying about the mail. I bet letters hardly ever go missing.'

Then I remembered who Ponyville's regular mailpegasi is:

Adventures in Horseriding Part One · 8:44pm Oct 23rd, 2012

Hi Everybrony,

So, I - a few months ago, in truth - took up horseriding. Fortunately, the entirely fortuitous coincidence with the Olympics avoided any awkward, my-little-pony related questions. There may or may not be part two and more of this, depending on how interested you all are. But first, a question - how many of the forty-nine of you following me are what my riding instructor would call 'horsey people'?

Yours,

Jon

...I have...no idea what you're talking about... :rainbowderp:

Sorry - let's say, how many of you ride real horses, as opposed to (supplemented by?) the adorable animated kind?

J.

I don't ride, as I'm still scared of it, but I love taking care of horses, and like helping out my sister with her horse.
They're great animals, and I like being at the stables. I definitely wouldn't mind having a horse of my own-
Maybe one day I will ride. Last time I rode I rode a tiny shetlandspony, and even then I thought it was scary <,<

I'm six and a half feet tall. If I tried to ride a horse, I'd go the way of Chris Reeve - and I don't have Superman cash to fall back on.

Ouch. Can't argue with that. Though he was eventing, which is pretty much the most dangerous type of competition (although reading the wikipedia article, you can see that it's possible to have that accident doing regular jumping, or even if the horse just stops suddenly), and he was unlucky, and it is possible to get accident insurance which would pay out Superman cash in the event of... anyway, speaking of which, I don't have that insurance, and I should get it, so thank you.

Anyway, since we do the falling off and accident thing, let's list mine - about two minute into my very first lesson, my horse got scared of a shadow and teleported out from under me. I had a Wil. E. Coyote moment, then landed on my ass. Thanks, Twilight! About halfway through a more advanced lesson, when I was trying to get a canter for the first time, the instructor got a bit too close, and my horse decided to - try to - buck her. But I didn't know that at the time. I thought he'd taken an irrational dislike to me, and was trying to buck me off. I landed on my feet, anyway. Nice going, Braeburn. The third time, well, she just saw a bird that she thought was a dinosaur, stumbled, and went one way whilst I went the other - Flutters, can you please not be such a fraidy-pony? That, fortunately, was another on my feet version.

Names have been changed to protect the neighaughty - obviously. I don't attend the Hasbro riding school. Although wouldn't it be awesome if that did exist!

Riding actual My Little Ponies... :rainbowderp::raritystarry:
I'd look ridiculous as all hell, riding a beast that's less than half my size, but still.

Actually, on second thoughts I'm not sure about this. What you bring to the party when riding a regular horse is brains. So how do I stack up against the characters of MLP - is there some need of theirs I can fulfil, so that a deal can be done...

:rainbowderp: < smarter :rainbowlaugh: "egghead~"
:fluttershysad: < braver ":fluttershyouch: "sorry"
:ajbemused: < devious :ajsmug: "I've got mah eye on you, sugahcube."
:duck: > fussy... but that's only useful if I drag her through the mud by the bit, and there's no way I'm-
:raritywink: "Ooh, promise?"
 ?????? ":pinkiehappy: "No need to bring a gift, your attendance is enough~"
 - I got nothing. She's better than me in every way.

Excepting, I would hope, her proclivity toward potentially catastrophic nervous breakdowns. :twilightoops:

Actually, I decided that of the mane six, Twilight is the mare most like the woman I'm married to. I told her I didn't know which of the mane six ponies I was most like, or rather that I had elements of all of them - and she replied:

"Do you really not know?"

and I was puzzled for a moment, then went:

"Oh, right - Pinkie Pie. :pinkiehappy:"
