I had a whole lot of very specific instructions for the artist. My initial description was that Twilight has to have the air of a mother on the edge of a nervous breakdown. She’s galloping after these two while trying to read that spell book. Trixie had to be running with a huge smile and not looking where she’s going, as if she’s flying on a cloud of pure glee. Starlight is trying to help Twilight catch her, but Trixie just changed direction, and so Starlight is just beginning to change direction as she yells at her to stop.

Each character is interacting in some way, each on their own plane in the foreground, mid-ground, and background. Trixie is running without care, Starlight is chasing Trixie, and Twilight is chasing them both. The picture actually tells a story.
