    Yes I am alive

Sorry I've been so absent as of late. My new project kinda absorbed me a bit :twilightsheepish: Actually, for the past year ever since I decided to write a Warriors fanfiction I couldn't really think about much else as far as writing is concerned, even right now.

    It's been 10 years!

Yeah, it's been 10 years since I've made an account on this website and published the first two chapters of Rebirth of the Damned, my first story (you can't tell now because back then when you would edit chapters and save them then it would overwrite the date of publication).

Make the Pokemon Special/Adventures the new anime · 11:58am Jan 21st, 2018

Found a petition for what title says, thought I would promote this AWESOME idea^^

So, as some of you remember from the time I was writing my best rated story, The Hero of Altomare (not tagging it because I don't want to create the fans of it the false hope that I had started to work on the sequel or prequel, btw; I am not rulling out that happening, but at the moment I am way to busy with the three stories I currently work on:twilightsheepish:) I am a huge fan of Pokemon.

Less so since I got so involved with MLP, granted, I don't play the games as NEARLY as much - had over 500 hours on Emerald, Pearl, HeartGold and Black each, and I also played a few other games, just not as much. I also had EV trained around 50 Pokemon in Pearl, HeartGold and Black each, too, having previously bred them especially; I got SUPER good with breeding Pokemon, mind you, best nature, best IV stats, and almost always could tell if Pokemon would belong to the same Egg Group before checking on the internet; also, most of my specially trained Pokemon were related to each other, to the point that by the end I began to make geneological trees of them. Tons of them were descendants of my Rhyperior and Rampardos, both from Pearl, and yet their descendants would make their way up to my Black^^ But alas, writing here took majority of my time, and its far more satisfying. Ah, and I was quite good in battling, of course. To this day I remember the last battle I had with my cousin (because by then he lost interest in Pokemon, too, sadly); it lasted over 20 minutes! Wish I figured out how to share those on internet, cause I had it recorded in game. It was like from anime, with both of us losing the one Pokemon in first few minutes, then he had advantage and took out 2 of mine, then I took out 3 of his while losing 2 of mine, and then my last one, my Umbreon (to this day I consider him to be one of my best Pokemon), beat his second to last one, then we had an over 10 minutes with our last Pokemon, both tanks with regeneratives attacks (my Umbreon and his Gliscor), trying to outlast each other. Oh, it was epic! (actually boring to watch, but the tension back when we played...^^). I also took part in a "tournament" prepared by the owner of webcomic Slightly Damned (highly recommend it, it's really good) a few years back, got myself 2-5 place (was tied with the other 4 guys), And I played a lot of fights with people from Serebi chat, too^^

I also do like the anime. That's how I got into Pokemon, of course. I loved all the main characters that we saw in it (okay, most of them, but more about that later), and enjoyed the plot, especially in Diamond and Pearl saga. I loved the rivalry between Ash and Paul, that was one of the best rivalries ever, with both learning from one another and coming to respect each other, and their battle was probably the best one in the series (why they didn't bring Paul back yet...).

(hoped to find japanese version of the fight, not an amv, but couldn't find.) DP is my favorite saga, followed closely by XY^^ Best Wishes/Black and White though... was partially responsible for me losing interest in Pokemon, along with MLP. The plot was meh (to be fair, it did partially suffer due to the very unfortunate coincidence; there was this great looking episode with Team Plasma causing a lot of damage to the city as a result of their action... but in the same week it was suppose to air, and earthquake struck Japan, causing the anime to not air those episodes and canceling them; I was far more sad over the actual tragedy, of course:twilightsheepish:), and characters... ugh. I think everybody in that region... well, let's just say I considered them all very, very very stupid. About the only normal looking person was Trip, the rival for the arc, but the writers made him unbearable. I somehow managed to stuck around to the episodes with Dawn, then powered through to the Legue... resulting in me banging my head against the wall over that idiot Ash losing to probably the biggest idiot in the entire series, who brought only 4 Pokemon into a 6 on 6 battle! I ignored most of the rest of episodes, N was beyond annoying in anime. XY was awesome though, I love Serena^^ Still on of my favorite scenes in anime ever:

Seriously, this one scene prooves how much better Japanese, the original verion, is, dubbed doesn't have the same feel to it. Noticed that already in few other cases, like Ash and Paul battle or Buizel vs Lucario in the 3rd gym. Anyway, still have to see the XYZ half of the XY saga, I did see a few of the Sun and Moon though.

But the version of Pokemon I love the most is not the games or the anime; it's the manga. Pokemon Special or Pokemon Adventures.

It. Is. EPIC! Seriously, it's so much better than the anime that it hurts! I doesn't follow a single character who never age; each main character is named after the games and their stories happen mostly in their own respective regions. So we had Red in Kanto, with rival Green (translated into Blue because Pokemon Green never made it into USA I think; still call him Green for one of the best puns from FireRed & LeafGreen saga in the manga; comment if you know which one ;p) and semi-rival friend Blue (called Green in the translation :facehoof:), then Yellow joins in the Yellow Saga, then we go to Jotho, and so on... my personal favorite was Ruby and Sapphire Saga. Maybe because Ruby was the first Pokemon game I actaully owned, but mostly... because Ruby and Sapphire are frickin; adorable! Seriously, they are easily in my top 5 favorite couples, even if they aren't a couple in the series. I just love them^^ All the characters are likeable and believable, though, it's way more mature and the plotlines are way better than anything in the anime mostly because they follow the games more closely, but they throw in their own things, too; loved the Masket Man in Gold and Silver^^

All those shots were straight out of the manga, only colored and animated in few cases. See how good it looks?! Believe me, that manga is worth the read^^ I highly recommend it^^ Sadly, I am very behind with it; couldn't find any new volumes after the first volume of Black&White 2 for some time and with my overall decrease of interest in Pokemon I would eventually stop searching. Only recently I found more^^ So no spoilers in the comments! ;p

So when I found a petition to make an anime based on that, I had to let you guys know. Here it is: https://www.change.org/p/saving-the-pokemon-series. I promise, that anime would be much better than the series that was running through over 20 years, and better than Generations, too (love it too btw). If you love Pokemon like I do, grew up with it, or just have time to spare and would like to do something nice for me consider checking that petition out. I know chances are slim that it would bring results, but I think it's worth the try.

That's all from me, hope you enjoyed this little bit from me, and if you became interested in the Pokemon Adventures manga thanks to it that you'll enjoy it^^ Feel free to write in the comments your favorite Pokemon-related stuff, whether it's related to the games, anime, or the manga:twilightsmile:

Edit: Forgot to add, regarding the games - Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Sky (/Darkness/Time)? Hands down one of the best games I ever played. I cried several times during it, dammit!

You know what I want them to do? I want them to make those Mystery Dungeon specials into a full length anime. The Team Go-Getters one more specifically, since I never played Rescue Team and I own Explorers of Sky. I remember seeing them as a kid and my god, was my mind blown. I didn't realize at the time they were made to promote the games, so I was so disappointed that they didn't continue. Like seriously disappointed, talking Pokemon was like a dream come true for me. So if they continued that, I would watch the shit out of it.

Also, I want to point out that "Rebirth of the Damned" is your best rated story.

I stopped watching the anime when I realized Ash wasn’t changing at all. I still buy the games; Sun and Moon (Ultra) seem to have a much better developed storyline than previous games.

I’ve never read the manga but from what I heard it’s way better than the Ash anime. Pokémon Rangers, Pokémon Dungeon, and even some of the old station games have the potential to be made into anime.
