    Yes I am alive

Sorry I've been so absent as of late. My new project kinda absorbed me a bit :twilightsheepish: Actually, for the past year ever since I decided to write a Warriors fanfiction I couldn't really think about much else as far as writing is concerned, even right now.

    It's been 10 years!

Yeah, it's been 10 years since I've made an account on this website and published the first two chapters of Rebirth of the Damned, my first story (you can't tell now because back then when you would edit chapters and save them then it would overwrite the date of publication).

Soooo... been quiet as of late. I didn't even reply to any new comments under my stories. I do plan to, but somehow never found time to sit down to it. Sorry for that. I still plan to resume updating my stories, it's just that I've been so focused on the Warriors story and also work and life kinda made it harder to motivate myself to writing.

I'll be honest, really lost a lot of motivation to write Rebirth of the Damned. With how my writing had improved with my newer stories, I find myself really embarrassed about the beginning of that story and a lot of stupid bullshit I put into it during that time, and with that story still continuing I find myself wondering "Do I really want to still work on that? Any new reader will have to go through hundreds of pages of bullshit..." and it really demotivates me. Which sucks because I have some awesome stuff planned to happen, but I just don't see myself getting to them. I'm not abandoning this story, but I am likely going to wrap it up to a point where it can be see as a some sort of ending, where a sequel could take off from... aaand then probably never write the sequel. Maybe. I dunno, we'll see.

As for Fallout Equestria - Infinite Potential, as I am close to finally finishing Arc One... I decided to delete Arc Two and go to what should have been Arc Three :twilightsheepish: With the long break I had taken from this story, I was able to look at it and decide that it's a bit long, and that Arc Two would be kind of a mess to write. Without going into too many details, it would revolve around Angel finding herself in Fillydelphia, and after a few chapters she meets Red Eye and starts working for him while planning her own thing because she'd utterly despise him, and culminating with her finding a way to screw him over and go start her own faction. So instead I am going to move right to the end part, saving myself from writing probably 20-50 chapters and having to extensively use characters not created by myself which would be hard to do RIGHT; after seeing the Star Wars sequel, I realized that when you are using characters not created by you, it's important to treat them with respect, no matter if they are good or bad guys (and as we know the sequels kinda failed with that, but I suppose that's open to suggestion; not that I really can judge them on that, look how many characters from both MLP and Warcraft are out of character in Rebirth of the Damned, especially at the start). And seeing how Angel from the get-go would despite Red Eye and this story is from her POV, it would be a bit hard to do. But I digress. I do regret having to do that, as there were a LOT of very awesome and hilarious moments tied with that Arc, but it's really for the best. My biggest regret however would be that I risk losing several characters that I planned to introduce through Red Eye's faction that would ultimately become Angel's allies; I am trying to alternate my plans to still have a way for them to appear and meet Angel, I really do not want to give up on them. I am also working on how to better transition from Arc One to Three now that Two will be gone, I still have a few chapters of Arc One left to write so it's not that much of a pressing matter but I would like to know ahead how I'll do that (the fact that my brain keeps thinking about Warriors makes it kinda difficult to plan). We'll see how it goes. Hopefully I will find in me to write at least one chapter in 2024 :twilightsheepish:

Not too much to tell about Stars in the Making as there is no big plot in it, really, just some weird funny slice of life stuff. I should try to wrap it up, would be easiest one to end.

As for my Warriors fic, if somebody here reads it, I recently finished 10th chapter, it turned out to be the longest chapter to date minus the prologue, I think it came out great. Now I'm just waiting for my editor Zaleros to go through it. Ah, also, I also started publishing it on Warriors Fanfiction Wiki, if you'd find it easier to read it there here's a link. https://warriorsfanfic.fandom.com/wiki/In_Sun%27s_Shadow_-_Echoes_of_War

So that's all the update I have for my stories, I hope you found it interesting. I will try to write pony stuff in the next year.

In other news,

Really loved all the Warriors books that came out this year, both the main series and Super Edition and the graphic novel. While I am deeply sad about the change of leadership in the main series, I take solace in the fact that everybody is alive and happy. In related news, one of the authors of the series, had visited my country twice this year... and one of those visits happened to take place in my home city^^ I was very fortunate to have a short chat with her, she's a very kind and amazing person^^ Oh, and she signed a few more books for me, which coupled with all her previous visits resulted with me having not only my three favorite books signed (Crookedstar's Promise, Bluestar's Prophecy, Bramblestar's Storm), but also both of my favorite arcs (Power of Three, The New Prophecy)^^ Yep, two entire arcs^^

I've been playing WoW as of late. In retail I had to level up my hunter to tame new spirit beasts they introduce with the newest patch, and honestly Dragonflight content was super fun to do on a hunter, made me play it for a few weeks. But right now I am focusing on the Season of Discovery, due to retail I hadn't yet reached max level but I'm still having fun, currently on level 20 so I should be able to soon go to Blackfathom Deeps raid (ah right, to those who don't know, Season of Disovery is special mode for Classic, max level is currently 25, BD is a raid, and there's a bunch of runes to give yourself unique abilities, for example, warlocks can tank and mages can heal, and so on).

I also finally played Lords of the Rings Online this year. It's fun, but it's a bit messy. I didn't get too far, but I finally got out of the Bree zone and started leveling up around the Weathertop. Man, Eriador is a DUMP, no wonder the Kingdom of Arnor fell apart. Literally only decent place to live in that part of Middle-Earth is Shire. Anyway, the game is super fun and free.

Played Alan Wake 2... and have yet to finish it :twilightsheepish: Honestly, while it's a great game, something about it bugs me. I much prefer the first game honestly, it's one of my favorite games, but the sequel... I dunno, maybe it's all the detective stuff, or all the upgrade collectibles things that you have to walk around to find, but just something really annoyed me about this game, to the point that I still have to finish it.

Got my Skyrim upgraded for PS5, really itching to give it a try... but even though on my character I got to the point where I ended the civil war for the Empire, I don't remember how to play much, so I might just start over. Also I'd like to give the Survival mode a try^^

Still thinking about playing Fallout New Vegas, though things keep distracting me. I also wanna play 76, this new dlc looks interesting. Oh, and 4 too, but I'm thinking about waiting for it to get upgraded to PS5, supposedly it should happen next year. We'll see.

I watched a new anime recently, Made in Abyss. I ignored it for a while, thinking it's some cute anime for kids. Aaand it does look like it at first, even though it has a few dark elements in the first episodes woven into it, but the more episodes you watch there's more and more of those elements, and by episode 10... it goes full Project Horizons on your ass! (For those who hadn't read that story, by that I mean it tries to rip out of your heart and make you weep!) And just keep getting worse from there! Like holy shit, that anime instantly moved to my top favorite anime list! I highly recommend giving it a watch, there's two seasons, with a movie between them that you have to watch, it's part of the plot. And oh yeah, season 2 is super dark, two episodes look like they were written by Lovecraft! Oh, and the soundtrack, and the voice acting! I hope one of them got some sort of award for how she voiced her character, it was amazing! Oh yeah, you need to watch it with subtitles, not dub, the dub's voice acting is not nearly as good. The premise is... there's a giant hole in the ground, it's full of relics from some old civilization, a lot of those relics have wonderous functions. But the Abyss is cursed, the deeper you go, the worse the repercussions are for going back. If you ascend for just 10 meters in the first layer of the Abyss, you get dizzy and vomit. 2nd layer, a lot of vomiting and headaches. 3rd layer, hallucinations. 4th layer, intense pain and bleeding from every orifice. 5th layer, loss of senses, confusion and self-harm. 6th layer, either death or loss of humanity. And 7th layer it's rumored to be certain death but its not confirmed as 6th layer is a point of no return, you can't enter it and go back above. So, you know, fun times^^

I also watched Star Trek Lower Decks, it's a fun show, kinda like a cross between normal Star Trek and Archer.

Speaking of Archer, just watched the last episode, so sad to see that show go, but honestly, season 1-5 and 8-9 were its peak, while it was still funny it wasn't as good as back then.

Okay, that's all from me I think. Hope you enjoyed my plans for the stories and what I have been up to. I'll try to go through some of the latest comments and reply to them, too.

Anyways, I hope you're having good time during those holidays^^

I hope you have a merry Christmas and a happy new year!

Happy holidays. :)

And good luck with the writing! And in general. :)

Howdy there, been a fan for many years now, and when it comes to Rebirth of the Damned, you have a couple of different options.
You could abandon the story (I don't like this outcome, worst timeline)
You could just grit your teeth and keep writing it even though you find it cringe worthy,
Or you could write the story from the beginning, keeping all the plot points and world building that you like, while getting rid of the stuff that you don't.

Of all the options you have when it comes to Rebirth, the only one I don't like is just flat out abandoning it, but at the end of the day whatever you decide to do is what's best, I look forward see what you decide!
