Well, here's a spot of good news for you lucky legions of Persianjuliet-lovers. (Yeah, all ten of you. I jest.) This holiday season, available only on Fimfiction, I'll be writing a one-shot starring Opalescence the kitten and Rarity the filly. Such is life on fimfiction - the work that we spend hours lovingly poring over is brushed aside by the world at large in favour of a purposeless piece we practically penned for self amusement.
I'm excited for the cute. This blog post makes me feel like a criminal for not having read FotA yet.

Only joking. My previously proposed piece was precisely pretend. I'm not exactly happy about the strange popularity of my writing, but I just have to whine about it until circumstances change in my favor.
And the holiday piece... hoo boy. It gun b gud.
439255 It's painfully challenging to direct attention to the fics you want to be your "big" one, the one you're most well known for. In fact, I've seen writers lose all their drive because the stories that they put the most effort into are left in the dust when it comes to views, compared to some silly metafic that they wrote more out of frustration than anything else.

I guess having that happen is better than none of your fics getting any attention at all, though. But I'm looking on the bright side of life.

In the meantime.... I shall create more art! I just finished a (terrible) drawing of defender2222's Tydal OC after reading The God Squad. Cracked me up.
I guess art is my way of circumnavigating writer's block.
