Braaaaaaains~
Just like George Romero predicted, I have risen from the grave. After nearly 5 years of no contact, I'm back with some ideas and a lot of weirdness under my belt. Time to blow off the cobwebs and get a new pen.
Since I last wrote anything, I've been busy for sure. Moved to the other side of the earth, started working towards my dream job and completed a degree. It's been a lot to take in, and very little time for other odds and ends.
First things first, for those who were reading it, Our Finest Hour is no more. Rereading the story, I was making it up as I went and it shows horribly. It won't be picked back up, nor continued in any immediate sense. That said, my love for FO:E has never gone and I do have a new story in the works. Whether it sees the light of day is another question, but we'll see.
In the meantime, I've released the first of The Gumdrop Files. After writing so much dark and serious stuff over the years, a colt trying to be a hard bitten detective with some affectionate noir style writing seemed just the thing to brighten myself up. First part is up, so please read and review. Or just read. Either works.
On that note, if anyone would like to pre-read my scribblings before they see the light of day, I would appreciate it a great deal. I'm also on the hunt for cover art for Gumdrop and the aforementioned FO:E project. More than happy to pay for the work, but we'll have to work out the particulars given the country I'm currently in. Lots of lovely dosh, but they're very stingy about it leaving the country.
Beyond that, it's good to be back on Fimfic. Lots of development in the fandom since I've been gone, so I'm keen to see what's new and what's the same.
