Thanks to all the responses to my last blog, it was honestly helpful. I genuinely wasn’t sure if there was still any interest in It’s Not a Cold Dark Place – I mean, yikes, it’s almost six years old at this point! But it always feels that, just when I think that nobody could possibly still be thinking about it, I’ll get a comment or a message or something (which, incidentally, I always find incredibly flattering, so thank you for anyone who’s ever done that). So, it was worth asking about it.
Anyway! I’m going to hold off on it for now, and just start posting the new thing instead. There’s still lots of editing to be done, but I hope to have the opening chapters up within the next week or so -- after that, I'm going to try very hard to stick with weekly updates. In the meantime, here’s a little Christmas story I wrote one evening a few years ago, but which I totally forgot to post here. 
Also, thanks to everyone who recommended episodes – it sounds like I really missed out not by skipping this whole season. I guess I’m gonna have to watch them all or something 
Season 7 was fantastic all around. You really did miss out. Go fix that.
