SPOILER ALERT: Don't read this if you haven't read "Beyond The Goddess Within - Chapter 3: Hostility" yet!
After some more thinking on the subject, I decided to change the ending to "Chapter 3: Hostility" and have Twilight Sparkle and Rarity fuse into one single pony. The chapter has just been updated to reflect this change, which starts in the last 3-4 paragraphs.
I resisted this idea at first, thinking I could do more with them as twins, but I think much more intriging mischief could be had if they became a single unicorn. Thank you, everyone, for your comments that helped inspire this latest turn in this ongoing saga!
Now, the most important part - What do I call her?
Rarilight Sparkity?
Twity Rarispark?

Not Twity. Please not Twity. Sounds almost ... insulting.
Perhaps instead of creating a portmanteau of the two names, perhaps something a little different? Or combine the ideas, as the 2 ponies were combined? Twilight's a definite egghead, so one might expect her to know equine related words from other languages. And Applejack seemed to identify French (Prench?) as being 'Fancy talk'. French word for horse seems to be cheval, so... Perhaps Rarilight Cheval?

Somehow something like Shining/Sparkling Gem comes to mind, but I think the others will manage to get better ideas than those.
I don't think it matters as long as the two fetishes they represent become combined somehow. Good luck with that
