Between writing the start and end of this story, I’ve celebrated two family birthdays, unexpectedly parted ways with an old car, waited inside two emergency rooms, sat beside three family members after surgery (one planned, two not), and had lunch with Horizon. It’s been a busy year, is what I’m getting at. Enough about me, though. Hopefully the story that I’m sharing with you this week will prove to be worth the wait
