(This is quite long and I hope that anyone that reads this will take the time to read the whole thing.)
Back in January I found fimfiction shortly after watching Argodaemon's famous video, Remembrance. What prompted me to join was the inspiration from both the video and some of the stories on here, particularly A Precious Rainbow by milesprower06. Within a week Friendship is Forever came to be. While I was writing it, I kept thinking "nobody's gonna read this. I'll be lucky if I get a comment."
Fast forward a couple weeks later and Sunset's Day (later renamed to SciTwi Shimmer-Book 4: Sunset's Day) came to be in roughly 45 minutes. Two days later I started working on Twilight's Night. This whole time I was still thinking that hitting 1K views on any my stories was never going to happen.
Then came the month of March. I hit a deep depression after my driver's license was revoked due to falling asleep at the wheel two months prior. I was thinking about suicide constantly. Then I saw Rainbow Rocks from a different point of view. Sunset's view. Which brings us to the focus of this blog post.
I began writing Am I Really Their Friend? to try taking my mind off of my suicidal thoughts. I had gotten a few comments requesting a sequel to it so I began working on It's Time To Leave. I was getting comments how people related to what Sunset was going through.
A few months later, It's Time To Leave became my first story to hit 1K views and I was surprisingly still receiving comments (although not as many) about how it related to them.
You're probably asking yourself (if your still reading this "article") "What does this have to do with anything?"
Last week I received a comment on my user page from Saberking2012 telling me that he had written a story inspired by SciTwi Shimmer-Book 2. This came as a surprise that I could write something that inspired others. Here is his story:

Then, two or three days ago I received a comment from SurprisePinkiePinkiePie telling me that SciTwi Shimmer-Book 2 was amazing and asked my blessing to write a recursive sequel to it that started at the point where Sunset attempts suicide after the semi-finals of the Battle of the Bands. The idea intrigued me and I did give my blessing. Once I read the first chapter, I knew she was onto something. As with SaberKing2012, I am returning the favor with a link the story:
I've said numerous times, thank you to everyone that has read, liked (and disliked; I realize not everyone likes everything), favorited and/or followed my stories. I means a lot and it's helped me through this huge depression I've been going back and forth with for the last 7 months or so. Please do me one more favor and check out SaberKing2012's and SurprisePinkiePinkiePie's stories and give them a like.
(On a side note, Sar Meister is working on possibly doing a YouTube reading of SciTwi Shimmer-Books 1 & 2. More on that at a later time.)
i shall get right on to reading thos
Thank you for the shout-out. It means a lot.
