With T-minus 5 days to launch, status of the new story is as follows:
The Prologue plus the first 3 chapters are complete and preread; chapter 4 is underway. It is still my intention to have five full chapters ready for an October 30 story release, but if I can't get the 5th chapter done to satisfaction before then, I will leave it off and release it later. The first five chapters will contain plenty of interest and naughtiness, as well as a couple major scenes. This will be a bit more plot-driven than the original UtM and not quite as wall-to-wall sex, taking just a bit longer to get rolling. But trust me, you're not going to mind!
One thing I don't have is story art yet, but don't worry; I'll find some. Minus it, here's the description you'll see on the story cover:
Months after the Friendship Games of Earth and mere weeks after her visit to the human world, Starlight Glimmer experiences her first real Nightmare Night in Equestria, joining her friends for a night of frightful but friendly fun in Ponyville...
All but one, that is. Upon learning Fluttershy will not be attending the celebration due to her anxieties, Starlight offers her a magical fix that can remove her fears for just one night, enabling her to have fun with her friends and enjoy the holiday as they do. But is it truly as safe a spell as she says? Or could her use of mood-altering magic backfire badly, mixing with Everfree energies to turn not just Fluttershy but all her new friends into nightmare versions of their normal selves, seeking to sexually spread their corruption to all they encounter?
Can Starlight escape their sensual snares long enough to undo what she herself has wrought? Or will she fall victim to the corruption that is slowly claiming her friends and turning all of Ponyville against her...?

A companion story to Unleash the Magic - Midnight Rising, but taking place on the other side of the portal, reading the original Unleash the Magic is not required, but events in it are referenced.
Contains: A few unlikely pairings and a crescendo of kinks including explicit mare-on-mare, mare-on-male of both the pony and draconic varieties, incest, bondage, mind-control, non-consensual sexually spread corruptive magic, and tentacle rape, all set against a very spooky and atmospheric Nightmare Night backdrop.
More information...? Okay, the story will be third-person and at least somewhat Starlight-centered, but perspectives will shift occasionally... and it will involve certain individuals on the other side of the portal by story's end. A surprising pony will become a hero, the climatic scene will be a confrontation never imagined, and Starlight will find out just how badly she's misjudged Twilight all along...
