While I am not gifted in drawing, I did pursue it for a time back in middle school, I was above average, but what I wanted to draw never seemed to come out right. I eventually transferred my time and effort into writing which is where I feel the most secure in my creative output. Fortunately, long lectures and boring classes have been a breeze to get by with some doodling I do for my stories. I have a notebook that I write down several ideas, plots, characters, backstories, creatures, lore, and whatever else comes to mind.
It doesn't mean much to anybody who finds it if I were to lose it, but it does have the ending of my story crudely penned out along with the next two stories I plan to write afterwards.
These are just two of the doodles I've done. Hoopoe, Apep, and the most recent creature Ijiraq; respectively. Each creature was originally based off actual mythology: Indian, Egyptian, and Inuit.
Nice! definitely better than anything I could do.
