The Israel/Gaza Situation Has Me Broken

Ignore if you hate this topic. I avoid social media, and I'd rather rant here than the hellhole that is Twitter :rainbowlaugh:

    Already on Step 4

Check this out if you have zero clue what I'm talking about haha.

Did bodyweight squats in front of my physical therapist, and they were good!! Super smooth, great range of motion, and zero tightness for the first few sets. This puts me on step 4 out of 5.

Plan to Cross the Finish Line

Gameplan my physical therapist and I made to overcome my joint issues once and for all. I'd say I'm 90% there, so here is the plan for the last 10%. Primary remaining issue is the left hip weakness causing me to shift much of my weight onto the right hip, which also causes my entire trunk/upper body to twist to compensate for the lean. This messes up my shoulder blade movement as well, leading to

Can Almost See the Light at the End of the Tunnel

After almost a full decade of pain affecting my waking hours, sleep, ability to exercise, and ability to just have fun, I'm almost done!!!!

I define me being done as: Being able to exercise, sleep, stand, sit, lie down, and walk with no pain, instability, or unevenness. It's hard to put a number on a goal like this, but I'd say I'm 85% there.

    Almost Done Beating Genetics

Ughhhhhh why can't I be 100% done, though :raritydespair:

Alright, so despite basically every joint having issues at first, I can minimize the major starting issues to:
    - Right hip tear + instability
    - Left hip tear + instability
    - Left shoulder instability
    - Right shoulder instability

The two bolded ones were the biggest issues. As of now, I have:

Underappreciated Gems · 2:23am Oct 25th, 2017

So here's another idea for a blog series I thought of: every week I'll review a handful of stories that I feel weren't appreciated as much as they should have been. These fics can be current or old, and they don't necessary need to have a low amount of views (since they may deserve even more in my eyes). So then, let's start with this week!

1. One Last Crusade by Tidal

Description:
Apple Bloom argues with Applejack
Scootaloo fights with Rainbow Dash
Sweetie Belle disagrees with Rarity

After a near-terrible accident the CMC are shut down by those closest to them. They agree that in order to find their special talents, they need to go on their own adventure. On one last crusade.

This was the first fic I ever gave a favorite to, and for good reason. I read this before the CMC got their marks in the show, and so what these marks would be and how they'd get them was a mysterious concept to explore. This story only has two chapters so far, but I loved how it set up a grand adventure for CMC. This story's hiatus is supposed to end soon, so keep on the lookout for new chapters.

2. Tough Little Pony by Isseus

Description:
Rainbow Dash told Scootaloo that it doesn't matter if she can fly or not. Then Discord made her put her wings where her mouth is and now she has to live without them for a day. But wings or no, she's still Rainbow Dash, the most awesome pony in Equestria, right?

...Right?

That description. There's honestly nothing more I can add to it. Stories regarding Scootaloo's disability are always good for the feelz, but this story pushes the wing issue one level further by putting the focus on Dash. Definitely recommended.

And that's all for now! Yeah, two stories isn't much but I kind of had a busy day and have to sleep early for school tomorrow :twilightsheepish: Until next time, guys!
