Follower Appreciation: Optimus Prime · 10:10pm Oct 23rd, 2017
It's been 3 years that I've been on this site and in the time I've never thanked all of you guys for reading my stories and riding with me on my journey. So it's time I changed that! Every week I'll pick one of my followers at random and give them a shout out, and this week the lucky winner is Optimus Prime
This writer, and the self-proclaimed rebel of Fimfiction, has been on this site since 2013 (and I thought I was old), and has written 13 stories for us all. Sweetie Bane in particular is a hilarious one.
Story Description: One day, Sweetie Belle comes from bed with a strange condition: Something akin to a mask on her face, and deep, masculine voice, a fairly eloquent speech pattern, and an almost sociopathic disposition...and her mother doesn't know why.
So to be sure to check Optimus Prime out. Until next week
Thank you so much for promoting me and my work! Though I'm perhaps not as much of a rebel as I used to be, because some elite users of FIMFic left or became less active, and what was rebellion then is somewhat more acceptable now.

No problem! I have to give the love back sometimes too haha.
And I'm curious, who were these elite users of Fimfic that you had to be a rebel to? Did they outlaw certain practices?

I can't say names without making drama, but I will say that we were kind of expected to follow rules like:
....I broke all of these rules.
Every.
Single.
One.
However, as you know, these rules are no longer as serious stigmas as they used to be, and feature box entries frequently defy them, as the millennial Bronies one over by the first two seasons have gradually left and homelander Bronies won over by subsequent seasons came on, and now old stigmas are being replaced with new ones.
Interesting and nice idea for a blog series.

So anyway, thanks for the promoting! I think I should start doing the same to my own users!

I've seen the stigma against male-male ships on other sites too. But I can respect a rebel. Keep up the good fight

Thanks! And I appreciate you always taking the time to comment on my blog posts

To be honest, you kinda got lucky...

How do you mean? That I survived breaking those rules back when it was dangeorus to break them?
Because yeah, a lot of people hardly survived the process.

I've seen what happens when even the Mods and Admins get in on it. Trust me, it wasn't pretty.
