SunnyDays is a relatively new fanfiction writer, though she's been in the fandom since 2012 and on the site since 2015. She tries to keep up a fairly stable bi-weekly schedule and consistently updates when that schedule is extended. Her stories usually focus on drama and character-based plots and are often based on alternate universes. Most of these AUs include fanon and headcanons that are no longer able to be applied to the show. Though most of her stories focus around the Wonderbolts at the moment, she has plans to look into the lives of other background characters and lore outside of Equestria.
Sunny is best known for her work on Hell and High Water and her own take on Anon-a-Miss, the Clipper!verse (Beginning with Empty Skies). Her two current projects are Embracing the Fog and Timelocked. Embracing the Fog is an alternate take of the ending of “Rainbow Falls” that expands into its own story with the introduction of the Shadowbolts. Timelocked, meanwhile, is an original story that tackles Equestrian lore, as well as Celestia character development, and bonding between Twilight and Celestia.
