Here's one: two horseword makers, slightly fruity, with absolutely no experience in hosting audio programs whatsoever starting their own podcast. What the Hell could possibly make this work? The Power of Friendship?
Well, yeah, actually.
I forgot who thought of it, but I'm already terrified. I think I'll blame the fuzzhead. Nevertheless, I've decided to be the one to host it.
Long story short, on Saturday October the 7th around 7pm est (5pm Mountain Time), come and hang out at the stupidest channel in all of Youtube. I intend to do this Seattle's Angels style... in that I'll be capturing the Ponkster and myself in Google Hangouts while streaming to Youtube. I suppose I'll also try and be professional about it and set up a blargh with a link to the livestreamed vidya so that people could comment there as well. We'll see. This is a learning experience for one and a half of us.
Just what the Hell are Ponky and I going to podcast about? Well, I suppose that'll be up to y'all.
Go ahead and ask questions here (and there). Ponky and I are gonna treat this like a lazy AMA sort of thing (AUA?). Perhaps in future episodes we'll be more prepared for thematic shiet, but this is going to be how we start off. Nietzsche knows we might go for themed stuff: "Memories of Italy." "Horsewriting 101." "EoP Spoilercast."
I only ask that you keep your questions as close to SFW as possible. The Barcast, this is not. Although...
No promises on this being a regular thang. Ponky has a wife and I work retail, sooooooooooo the future schedule's always uncertain.

Skirts and alter egos has some great stories, that deserve to be seen by everybody, even outside the fandom. And while some only work in the Equestria we know, with the ponies we know, others have taken the poni as a base and grown into their own thing, their own world. Would it be sacrilegious to ever separate those from the poniness? How many lemur voices would it take to convince Skirts to adapt out the ponies from some of those stories and try publishing them in more "serious" (as in, people don't take fanfiction seriously way) media?
In a related question: If the Austraeoh saga were to be adapted in such poniless way, how would the races change? Would it be a job of simply replacing the hasbroponies with midget horse, pegasus, unicorn, thestral (or is that a Harry Potter invention?) characters? Or would it involve replacing just about all races, even if talking griffons and minotaurs are not copyrighted by Hasbro? Would Austraeoh even work in a standard fantasy setting with the characters being humans and dwarves and stuff, or must they always maintain their fuzzyness (not that dwarves and some humans are not fuzzy)?

he would have to add a lot more back story we all know the charters from the show so well at this point we also all know the world and setting they are in very well take a story outside of its fandom and now people don't know about how wise and benevolent Celestia is or Luna backstory or why rainbow dash the element of loyalty feels like she needs to fly east to begin with this has to all be explained and unless you tell the story from the begging its going sound like a info dump I would think
