Review Roundup: September 4th - 22nd · 11:49pm Sep 24th, 2017
The first two weeks of the fantasy football season, I lost both of my games... and I lost both of them by a single point
But this week, we're trying something new! Specifically, we're trying "get your fanny beat in a blowout;" as I type this, Jordy Nelson just scored a last-second touchdown in the Packers/Bengals game to make my fantasy score 75-107... and my opponent still has two players left, to my none. Looks like it's gonna be a winless September.
But your September can still be better than my fantasy team's! All you need to do is head down below the break, and catch up on all the reviews and ramblings from my blog that you might have missed in the past few weeks. Go on, take a gander:

Wednesday, September 6, 2017: First Sentences in (Fan)Fiction the 22nd
My opinions of how fanfics start. This time, it's a trip through the New Stories box... and not to spoil anything, but it goes about as well as you'd expect.

A quick glimpse back at what was happening around the fandom six years ago.
Wednesday, September 20, 2017: Mr. Ted
In which I talk about a good friend who was recently in a horrific accident. He's stabilized and will hopefully be able to get his breathing tube removed tomorrow, but it still going to be in the hospital for the foreseeable future.
Friday, September 22, 2017: Fandom Classics Part 229: ...But the Kitchen Sink
My review of Dub's Rewatcher's timeless love story about a mare and her... plumbing.
So speaking of fantasy football, have you ever read Sharp Spark's "Fantasy Hoofball"?

That is a fun story. You should definitely read it if you haven't already, Chris. :D

I did read it! I think I read it after PP reviewed it in one of his minificrecs (see? The system works!)
...though looking now, I see that it's been in my "read and awaiting review" folder for more than two years. Hmm. Maybe the system doesn't work after all.

Man. c.c At least all the backlog in my lists are the
livingunread. Both Are We the Baddies? and Twilight Sort-Of Kills Her Friends are pretty good. I did not really like White in the Snow when I read it, though.
The others? Never heard of em.
