Yukito's Yellow Nuzlocke is the longest day... - Day #12

Darogh's journey picked up from where had left off. Exiting the Silph Co. tower and resting up, Darogh made for the Saffron City Pokémon Gym, where he would take on an assortment of pyschics and channelers. Here, Phat Beatz received the training that he needed to catch up with the rest of the team, except against the ghosts that were for reasons unknown also there.

Yuki's Nuzlocke Yellow journey begins - Day #1 · 7:42pm Sep 11th, 2017

Our story takes place in the far away land of Kanto, in the world of Pokémon. Darogh is a naíve young boy ready to venture into the world on his own, at the tender age of 10. His mother is very accepting and allows him to stroll out the door with naught but a potion, and a dream. As Darogh attempts to leave the town, a voice stops him: "Wait! It's dangerous to go alone!"

It was the Oak, the town's Pokémon researcher, who had stopped him. At that time, a wild Pikachu attacked. Oak captured the Pikachu with ease and told Darogh to follow him to his lab. There, they encounter Oak's grandson, Cunt, and Oak offered his only Pokémon to Darogh. However, before Darogh could take it, Cunt swooped in and stol the Eevee! Left with no other choice, Oak offered the freshly-caught Pikachu to Darogh. Darogh named the Pikachu Drk Mousey, after the famous Phantom Thief that nobody's ever heard of.

On his way out, Cunt challenged Darogh to a battle. Darogh wasn't worried. He would just zap that little fluff ball. What was it going to do? Wag its tail repeatedly, lowering Drk's defence to the point that- HOLY BALLS hangin' on by 2 HP! Well, even then, Drk defeated the Eevee soundly... Darogh's first victory may have been close, but it tasted sweet nonetheless.

After leaving the lab, Darogh ventured to Viridian City and collected a package for Oak, which he delivered back to the lab. It was there that Darogh and Cunt both received the Pokédex, Oak's greatest invention that he had spent his whole life leaving filling. Too bad the children dropped them and wiped their harddrives. Oh well.

Upon arriving back at Viridian City, Darogh bought many Pokéballs, and returned to Route 1 to find his first "friend". A wild Pidgey attacked, believing it to have any chance to killing Drk. Unfortunately, it was too weak to withstand even one attack, but at the same time, it should theoretically be easy to catch without weakening it. Darogh threw one ball, but it broke free. He threw a second, and the Pidgey was caught. Upset with having wasted a valuable Pokéball on such a weak bird, Darogh made sure to forever shame him new partner with the name 2Balls.

Proceeding left of Viridian City, Darogh encounter the third member of his team: a Nidoran(M). A little more exciting than a pidgeon. Darogh weakened it and caught it with one ball. Knowing that this Pokémon would lead him to victory, particularly against Kanto's first Gym Leader, Brock, Darogh bestowed the title of King upon this purple creature. Unfortunately, due to character limitations, Darogh had to compromise, and thus his new partner received the name: King Urple.

To prepare for his second encounter with Cunt, Darogh trained King Urple and Drk Mousey in Route 1, killing many Pidgeys and a few Rattatas along the way. The scent of blood lingering in the air and the Pokémon Centre's free healthcare abused to no end, Darogh looked over his team and decided that they were ready. He headed out back towards the Pokémon League, only to be stopped by Cunt and challenged to another battle. His team fell before the electrical might of Drk Mousey.

His work here done, Darogh proceeded north, towards Viridian Forest. Along the way, Darogh encounter a Nidoran(F). Could it be? Had King found a mate? Could this be the fated Queen Luey? Drk Mousey weakened it. It was weak, but could be weaker. Ordering one final attack, Darogh prepared to capture it... but it was not to be. Drk Mousey, wanting to prove himself to his master, landed a critical blow to the Nidoran, killing it without mercy. Oh well, no biggie.

Proceeding into the forest, Darogh encounter a Metapod and caught it, naming the living cacoon Podders. A Butterfree would be a useful backup in a pinch, but the focus at the moment was getting The King ready for his battle against Brock. Curb-stomping bugs left-and-right, The King left no survivors to tell the terrifying tale of his reign. Upon leaving, Darogh headed straight for the Gym. It was time.

The pathetic trainer standing guard was no match for The King, and Brock himself proved to be powerless before his almighty kicks! The Onyx could only Bide its time, delaying the inevitable, until it was too scared to even land a hit, and then fell. The King dominated the miserable Rock Gym, and Darogh awarded his first badge.

Heading right of Pewter City, Darogh encounter many trainers blocking his path. Through their battles, the team grew stronger. Podders evolved into a beautiful Butterfree, learning the Psychic move Confusion, and The King achieved his second form, Nidorino. One foolish Clefairy though that it could match the almight King's power, but alas, it was curb-stomped into its proper place under King Urple's paws!

Knowing what Gym challenge was to come, Darogh turned to his team. "Guys, we have to beat Misty!" Nodding, Drk Mousey took the front spot on the team, knowing that he would need to trained hard in Mt. Moon. A Rattata jumped out suddenly. Darogh cared little for the rat but caught it simply to avoid it in the future. DumbRat - so lowley that it did not even deserve a space - was deposited into the PC, and Darogh bought a much better Pokémon from the lovely man in the Mt. Moon Pokémon Center - KrapFish the Magikarp.

Venturing into the cave, Darogh tried to make progress, but something had stirred the Zubats. Every two or three steps (srsly), another bat would swoop down to suck his blood. The first was captured, and named Zaiaku. The rest... now litter the floors of the Mt. Moon cave, a warning to all avian creatures who dare stand against Drk Mousey on the field of battle.

The day drew to a close, and Darogh decided to rest in the cave. Tomorrow, he would continue, towards the future. Towards his destiny.
