Science, Magic, and Pure Energy · 12:05pm Sep 7th, 2017
I always hear people saying things about Science vs Magic.
You know what I think about it? I think it's [REDACTED]. I mean, the whole point of Science is to understand how the world works. To try and explain the nature of everything. The whole point of Magic in the other hand is a type of energy that can manipulate the world. So how in the name of Equestria are they gonna go against each other?
Centuries ago people believe that disease are magic. They believed that it is caused by a mysterious force AKA magic and there's nothing they can do about it. Then Science came and revealed that tiny little creatures inside your body are what causing sickness. So, in the end, Science is just a method of understanding. It's not another force, power, energy, no! It's just a method, a study to understand how the world works.
So yeah, that's what I think about science vs magic. Doesn't make sense.
Oh and don't get me started on "Pure Energy". Man I hate those words, it makes as much sense as Liquid Number and Cosmic Push. It's cool when you throw those words around, but when you look into it, the word 'Pure Energy' makes no bloody sense.
Energy means the capability of something to do something. It is not matter, not force, nothing. It is the way to determined how much can an object do. That's it! Really, that is it! Energy is like numbers, can you throw out pure numbers at your enemies? Of course not because they don't exist. Energy is a quantity not an entity.
So when throwing energy beams at each other, make sure to add magic into it. 'Magic Energy Beams' That make sense because it's a magical energy or simply 'Energy' which implies that the energy has the power to power something or do something through unknown means, not that it's pure energy.
Just need to get that out of my system...
Good day Mares and Gentlecolts, thank you for reading!
My thoughts exactly! Sadly though you need an editor.

An editor huh? What makes you think so?
Is it really that bad?

I think you need an editor because there's a few grammatical errors scattered throughout the text, for instance instead of " Centuries ago people believe that disease are magic." it should be 'Centuries ago people believed that diseases were magic.'.
However everyone makes mistakes we just need to avoid them when possible.

I thought you were talking about my stories...
But I don't think I actually need an editor for that sort of thing. An application like grammarly should fix it right up.
