Patreon settings · 7:10pm Aug 23rd, 2017
I have decided to push back the proofreading for Volume 2 by another two chapters. One due to the next chapter being a special case I am obligated to get out and secondly since I don't want to keep the readers waiting for the resolution involving the Starlight Glimmer subplot.
However, I would like some input regarding my Patreon page. It's current settings are that my Patrons are charged with every chapter upload. However, I was wondering if it is time to adjust that. It can be set to have Patrons charged every month instead of each upload. Since my chapters can take quite some time to complete, I was wondering if it would be acceptable to adjust this. What do you all think? I don't want to do anything unreasonable.
*EDIT*
I have decided that after I complete the next chapter, I will be setting my Patreon payment settings to monthly.
i would suggest a per-month, manage patreon for another writer and support many and in my head thats the best option
I don't know much about Patreon, but switching the charge to 'per-month' from 'per-update' is probably the best option in my opinion. After all, you don't update as regularly as you used to (no offense).

Inspiration is a fickle mistress.
Two words.
Per.
Chapter.
You don't get enough love as it is.

I'm not sure what you're recommending. Are you saying that I don't put chapters out often enough for that choice to be feasible? Because I do admit they take time.
4647013 This is just my opinion, though I doubt many will agree with my conclusion.
I know you do incredible work, and you put so much effort into each chapter you write. It is my firm belief that each chapter should have a charge, since you regularly update about once a month as it is. If a month rolls a round where you do two chapters, all the better!
Though now that I look at it, I can understand why doing a monthly donation would be more reasonable.
Regardless of what you decide, I'll continue to support you.

It's not often I get a chapter out a month. At times, it takes two to three months to get some out.
4647280 Hence why a monthly donation as opposed to a chapter-based donation would be a better choice, yes.
Sorry. It's been a long day, and I'm fixing to go to bed. Brain's not working at one hundred percent right now. Good night!

P.S.
Still supporting!
I'm not big on HIE stories, but I can appreciate hard work.
