Tell me, what do you live for? Is it for work? For study? Or is it for the important things? Pleasure, art, friends, family, love? Do you live to work? Or do you work to live?

I could go for a walk!

    I’m not dead yet!

I’m pretty sure at least. My doctor recently told me that I was the sickest patient she’s ever had and that I almost died in late 2017. Luckily I’m getting better now.

I haven’t been on here in like... 6-7 months or so. Even though I have some stuff that I wrote and watnot.

    Every Hallmark Christmas Romance Ever

My dad loves Hallmark Christmas movies, even when it isn't anywhere near Christmas time. I've started to notice a pattern with some of them.

Tell me if you've seen this one before...

    Finally

Well, I finally got another chapter of White Lie finished. It isn't even very long. However, I've got a new schedule that I'll be keeping that will help with getting chapters out on a more frequent basis.

MLP:FiM S7E14 - Fame and Misfortune (Alternatively titled: Why Fans Should Never Be Allowed in Equestria) · 1:56am Aug 14th, 2017

In seriousness, I loved the episode. A bit more below.

Okay, so at first I thought it was one of the most unusual plots in the history of the show, until we got to Fluttershy, where they said "She learned the same lessons so many times and had barely changed!"

In that moment, I realized that the writers were poking fun at the fans. The fans that watch the show and then critique it saying things like "That's unrealistic", "She was better before she had wings", etc etc etc. If they were ever somehow able to make it into the world of Equestria, the events that would ensue are summarized quite perfectly in the episode.

I thought it was genius. I laughed a great deal because I've seen it all happen before, and I can just imagine whoever came up with the concept, sitting in there chair and then having the great epiphany.

"Whelp, guess we gotta go do some research!" (spend time surfing Equestria Daily, Fim Fiction, the Chans, DeveiantArt, Derpibooru (oh heaven forbid), etc.)

Oh the things they must have seen that both delighted and horrified them.

Who knows, maybe they saw something I wrote, or you wrote, or one of us drew, or whatever.

But in the end, I thought this was a hilarious tribute to the fans, but at the same time a swift kick the butt for those critiquing the show that they put so much effort into making.

In short, I was VERY pleased with the episode, and I enjoyed myself. Especially when it ended with that song, and that heartfelt moment with the two fillies.

Truly a good episode, both in and out of meta.

What are your thoughts?
