Progress for the Sake of-- Oops, I Started Over. · 2:06am Jul 26th, 2017
So about nine months ago I posted a blog. It talked about a few things. Like Kkat's original Fallout Equestria, what I thought of it, and what it inspired from me. Which all seemed great at the time. I mean I had planned to write my very own Fallout Equestria. Not going to lie, it was quite the challenge getting that project rolling, but in the end I felt that it just wasn't good enough.
"Project Clarity: A Fallout Equestria Story" was what I called my work in progress. It was meant to follow a "Stable-dweller" escaping the stable in search of his father. A similar premise to the original Fallout 3. Just with altered concepts and characters to suit the MLP world and whatnot. However, I didn't get farther than Chapter 3 before all my motivation for the project dropped, and I simply wasn't interested anymore. In my eyes it just wasn't good enough. What I wanted to create was something new, original, unique to itself.
Yet I'd started out with a base and it ruined me. Well, almost a year later, and I'm back in business! Only now I've started everything over. New main character, new beginning, and new concepts. It took me a long time to decide where I wanted to go with this project. Longer to actually put something concrete together, but this time I won't let it just sit there to gather dust. I've completed the first chapter and I plan on submitting it. Further chapters may take some time. The reason I'm releasing the first chapter alone to start is because I'd like feedback before I continue.
I will continue.
Just not immediately. Which is partially a lie. I'll be brainstorming for a bit. Thinking about how to continue. Beyond that though, you'll just have to wait, and let me know what you think of the first chapter. Also for anyone who might be curious. Yes, the character in my avatar is the main character of the upcoming story, and yes I made him using Pony Town. I know... shame on me. It's just a useful creator, alright?
Anyways, without further ado, I'll wrap up this blog post and share with you... the first chapter of "A Fallout Equestria Story."
