A Princess, a Draconequus, and a Pegasus Form a Tenuous Alliance to Save Equestria · 12:57am Jun 25th, 2017
"It has been theorised that this great land once had another ruler, one that shaped and molded it into the place we now know. One far older than our fair princesses and those who came before them, one that breathed our ancestors into existence. Of course, no amount of theological discussion can lead to any concrete evidence, and the teleological debates regarding the extrinsic value of our own land and technology is inconclusive also. Epistomologically, we must assume that there is no greater power than the entities which we are aware of, until it is shown otherwise."

The Grand Galloping Gala has just ended. Not even a year has passed since Luna's return, yet her worst fears are soon to be realised. Through her constant scrying she has discovered the barriers to the gaia's core have weakened. This can only mean one thing: The ancient ones have returned.
Several demonic lords, all banished to the deepest, most forgotten pits of hell following their relentless skirmish against the beings that created the alicorns. Their armies waged war, and the victors allowed their conscripts, their creations, to populate Equestria and govern it in their stead as they inexplicably vanished.
Their opponents, however, never left. They sat, bound to the earth's core, biding their time, recovering, preparing themselves for tens of thousands of years, all for this moment, when they would break free and take the land without opposition. It is this moment that Luna anticipated, that she prayed would never come to pass.
Now, with her limited time to plan a response, Luna knows that she must gather allies to assist her. One that knows nothing of angels and demons, and one that has been trapped in an entirely different manner for a very long time also. Recruiting them will be one issue, controlling them will be another. The only thing she knows for certain is that her sister cannot catch wind of the situation arising, nor of her plans to suppress it.
If Celestia found out, Equestria would never survive.
I'm calling you all to come and begin this adventure with me! I've been looking forward to writing this story for quite some time, and will strive to make it a great one! Comments and feedback are very much appreciated, so please tell me what you think!
Thanks very much,
