Yes, I am writing a TwiMac story.
Now, you guys have a few guys to thank for this one. First, we have NightsGlory. He and I and another one of his readers were having a conversation about how well Big Mac and Shining Armor would get along... somehow, I mentioned that the two of them would fight crime. I tried to write a story like that.
I failed.
From its ashes, rose the story. I will make several references to his story. In fact, there are a few similarities, but just as many differences.
Second, you have SleeplessBrony to thank. He and I have very similar writing styles... though sheer coincidence. There are other reasons to thank him, especially considering the content. Seriously, you will notice the similarities between his style and mine... Present tense, varying sentences, various things we both take from Stephen King, in small ways. He would be my pre-reader for this, if he weren't so busy writing. His words. Which is really awesome to hear.
Next, you can thank FlimFlamBros, as he has been my springboard, as has blm. These two have been the ones who I can bounce ideas off of for this. Although, FlimFlam has been an asshole, a large portion of the time, he has been a helpful asshole.
Fourth, you have Bronius Maximus to thank, because he is also an influence on this, as well. He liked the idea of the crime fighting. He is also rather awesome, and I hope he reads this story.
Now, I need some pre-readers. If you want to offer your services, please send me a PM. I would like for at least NightsGlory to be among my pre-readers.
Last but not least, I would like to make a declaration.

And yes, Bronius Maximus is a pretty cool guy. I'm pretty sure is story At Home On the Range (as well as the sequel) motivated me to get up off my ass (or sit on it, as 'twere) and write my stuff.

The exact same thing applies here for this story. As is, I have gotten a bit written.
I have also been busy looking up breeds of apples and converting them to ponies.
It has been rather time-consuming.
