What I've accomplished lately (well, within recent memory) · 2:21am Jun 13th, 2017
I'm feeling a bit down and wanted to end the evening on a positive note, so I thought why not make a list of everything I've been doing lately, see how much I've got done. then I thought, why not blog the list? so here we are.
- firstly, I've actually gotten more or less caught up with my youtube videos. I recorded a bunch more today, but that's fine; its a small amount compared to the back log I had before, and now...
- i'm uploading! nothing has been made public on my new channel yet, but I good chunk of my videos have been uploaded. today I uploaded around 30 videos to my new channel. and that's not even counting the almost 30 steven universe reactions I've uploaded onto dailymotion the last couple days. redirects to those will be up soon enough.
- in the same vein as the uploads, I went ahead and made thumbnails for all of my new content- my redirects and such. over 100 images, mostly formulaic. but still.
- did I mention I recorded today? 9 redirects, 1 mlp episode reaction, and a reaction for bronyburningaxe's abridged series (episode 2 out at last, whoo!)
- as always, steady progress on episode 6 of Pony la Pony. the fight, which isn't really a fight anymore, took a long time to get right. I've really changed a lot of things. oh, hang on-
- I've made the executive decision to not post anymore BONUS chapters in PLP. most of what I wrote in the first bonus i'm repurposing in the episode 6 rewrite, and I just posted the second bonus as its own story. yay!
- in other PLP news, I have a fairly firm grasp on what i'm going to be doing with episode 7. after that, the plot takes off, so hopefully I won't have much of a problem with figuring stuff out.
- don't make fun, but... i'm trying out a no-fap movement. its long been a thing with me that I clop and then I hate myself. doesn't really stop me from doing it again. until now. I like me better when I don't have... that stuff on the brain. look at this list- a good chunk of it got done after I discovered no-fap as an official movement, website, app, etc. I've taken to tracking days since I last clopped, and I love it. I feel better, mostly. last couple nights, I haven't clopped, but I've had some dreams that- well, i'm sure you can imagine. I wake up feeling blah. but once I get up and get going and remember that I've consciously been avoiding that- actively shunning it- I feel really good. in spite of the hot days, I feel motivated and awake and good.
okay, I can't think of anything else. but this is a great list. tomorrow i'll be adding to it- a ton more videos will get uploaded to youtube, and i'll write some more PLP. ha! it worked! I'm smiling again.
