More HydrusBeta Art · 10:21pm Jun 8th, 2017

HydrusBeta has once again done a wonderful piece of art for Harmony Theory. This one is another birthday present for me, and it’s an amazing scene of Star Fall using her spellsheets to attack Nightmare Umbra in chapter 11. It’s also animated, which is an extra layer of awesome on an already awesome thing.

Unfortunately, that animation means it’s not cooperating with showing up in a blog post like this. So make sure flash is enabled and click here to see it in all its glory. Alternatively, there’s a .gif version at derpibooru. Take a look and leave a comment in appreciation!

In progress news I’m still working on the next chapter, don’t have an ETA with it yet but it’s slowly shaping up.

I hope you all have excellent days, and I hope you enjoy what I’ve written!

Funny how this happens while I’m rereading the story. :pinkiegasp:

I’m overdue for reread myself.

I hope you had a terrific birthday, Sharaloth! :pinkiehappy:
Thanks for all the great writing; I always really enjoy making fanart of this story.

I love his fan art. Question though: he has drawn star with only red hair and also red and yellow in some of his older pictures. I remember the story describing her hair like fire. Which is more accurate?

Same, it’s been a while.

IIRC, Fallen Star had yellow dye in her mane while she was on her spying mission in the South. It was during that time that her hair was described as being like fire, and reminded Rainbow Dash of Spitfire. The dye was removed after the group crossed the Everstorm. I've tried styling Star Fall's mane like Spitfire's, but I rarely like how it turns out, so I've been using a style that's probably inaccurate (but I suppose that the mane style doesn't have to exactly match up to remind Rainbow Dash of Spitfire?). There's my take anyways.

On another note, I've got some alternative links now, for easier access/ higher quality:
GfyCat link - html5 video that should play on most browsers (Flash not required)
mp4 on Dropbox - max quality, when downloaded

Happy birthday man!

I know it's late but happy birthday

Hi, is “Lavender Unicorn Syndrome” still alive?
