Recent Thoughts and First Review!

Hey y’all, I know it’s been a while since I wrote a blog post. Mostly because I’ve had a lot on my mind regarding life, Forgotten Days, and other things important to me. Well I wanna sit down and talk a little bit about life and Forgotten Days. No, I haven’t cancelled it, it’s just...slow going that’s connected to life.

What many of you may or may not know is that as a college graduate I face the horrible truth that I may never get into the field of study I was in. This is a sad truth for many graduates. And that led to a series of emotional breaks that prevented me from getting into the mindset of writing a fan-fic for you to enjoy. But sometimes it inspired me to write, funny ain’t it? Now I’m certainly not complaining, I enjoyed my time in college, but being out you feel longing for more and more that sometimes is just out of reach. But I guess the lesson to take out of it will simply to be don’t give up and try to keep your head up.

Secondly, a major part of Forgotten Days was originally inspired to me by my ex-fiance. Who convinced me to write something that she thought both I and fans of Fallout Equestria would enjoy. But notice the key word there, ‘ex.’ Shortly after the release of the first two chapters, she left me. This naturally left a nasty hole in my heart and my inspiration to continue the fic. However, I joined a lovely Discord community and they supported me to this day with my fic. Answering questions and giving opinions when asked of them. I truly cannot thank them enough.

This in turn brings me to a lovely review written by RuinQueenOfOblivion. She has been a follower of Forgotten Days for some time now and added the fic to her review list. This all comes back to my release schedule and the current status of Forgotten Days. Yes, I am still working on it. No, I do not have a set schedule in place but I am indeed working on it. In fact I was recently approached by another FiMFiction member about attending a panel for Ponyville Ciderfest on FoE if it was approved. Sadly, I cannot make the trip despite desperately wanting to attend at least ONE of the FiM Fandom Cons. Who knows, maybe I can join the panel in some sort of Skype type deal? Only the future can tell!
