First of all, I notice that I had several notifications in my box that all vanished when I opened it.. I've been away for quite some time, having to deal with the fallout from my February accident and ensuing dental repair work (and it's still only about a third done), as well as needing to get the car fixed and a big plumbing repair bill on the house -- for something that needed to be fixed, oh, 5-7 years ago. But everyone kept doing the 'I'll only help with the bill if so-and-so does, otherwise forget it.'
At least its breaking down completely to the point of needing to be replaced means the work will finally be done.
Anyway -- on to things that matter more around here.
I'm deeply and truly sorry, again, that the new John the Balladeer/MLP story is still being delayed. My normal editor is still dealing with all his troubles and can't get to it. I'm not blaming him, these things happen.
But if anyone could point me at a good book or the like that covers editing fiction, I'd appreciate it. I'm not sure how well I can edit, but if I can get the skills I'd be willing to give it a try just so you all get what was promised.
At least you're still trying. And geeze, I had plumbing trouble for a couple of days, I don't want to imagine for... oh wait, oh yeah, there's also some stuff that needs fixing that's being ignored too, so yeah, I know your pain.
