Okay, a quick poll · 9:14pm Apr 25th, 2017
Who can remember the Pie family's ancestral family name? It was first referenced in The Weed.
This is kinda important, because of something I'm planning. You see, that ancestral name is about to come back into play, and if people can't remember what it is, they won't realise what is going on when an event happens. It's going to be a big event, too, fraught with meaning.
It's been a long time since the Weed...
I just read it.
The Coffyn's.
Because pies were called that when they had a topping of crust.
I didn't remember, but have now looked it up. And noted it down.
Coffyn... as a pie is a pastry box with a lid on it.
trying to remember so many detials of your stories is like legitimately trying to remember the world of the last ninety years XD
guess it shows how expansive your stories have become
**Big breath of relief**
I was gonna say Coffin, but it looks like it was with a Y instead of I according to others. but close enough.
Not to fear, because the comments are here!
I had forgotten, but now I'm told the name I remember the meaning.

Coffin is also correct, as the name has changed with time.
I must shamefully admit that I couldn't have told you from the get-go (I somehow vaguely recall "Kuchen" for some reason) but seeing the word "Coffyn" rang a bell (I remember that I thought how oddly close that word is to "coffin" at that time).
4509797 Been a pretty short time for me, about a week to be approximate, and sadly I did not remember.
Coffyn
As someone earlier said, it was Coffyn. I didn't remember that off the top of my head, but I did remember that it had something to do with death.
...and puts that back in the short term memory. Long term memory has a few blank sectors on the disc.
If I remember... Coffyn to pye to pie?
Yeah, I'd never have remembered it if people weren't saying it here. Maybe you should lampshade it a bit?
Coffin/Coffyn. I know many have wrote it already, but I'm proud that I knew before I read the other comments.
Wow, it's been a while since the very first story. It's cool having it seen expand like this, to have been part of the journey that gladly isn't over yet. Go, kudz!
Coffyn! gah I need to re-read The Weed again!
Its was originally coffyn but pronounced coffin at some point a old term for coffins was pie and eventually they got called pie
I had forgotten the name because I read the Weed in December.
I remember! It was...ummm... *reads comments* Coffin! Yep. That was it, *smiles smugly*
OH! Uhhh. Shit! It had something to do with the crust.
*look at comments*
COFFYN! Okay, i almost completely forgot about that.
Coffyn! I definitely did not read the comments to figure that out. Nope, not at all. I definitely remembered it one my own.
Although, if somebody doesn't know what's going on at this point, the comments on each chapter make surprisingly good CliffNotes. Speaking for a friend, of course.
Coffin I believe.
While I probably would have remembered anyway, I just re-read both The Weed/Veneoum Iocus, and Perilous Romance just last week.
Your works are very re-readable

when that chapter happens, just stick a reminder in the author notes?
I'll be honest. I didn't remember it :(
Coffin! Lol
