Seriously?!

As I look at the count of likes and favorites for the tagged fic, I scratch my head in wonder.

How in the hell does a fic that I started on a lark get so many likes?!

I'd chalk it up to the fact that it's an HiE, but that doesn't compute.

Maybe it's because it's a Random Tagged fic.

But seriously, it has more likes than my other fics combined.

Guess I should knuckle down and write more chapters for it.

I'd like to, but I kinda have a slight problem.

Even though what Jake does is random aid that follows no real plan, everything else is canon to the show, up to se6.

Trouble is, I can count on one hand the number of episodes of either of those seasons that I watched. Combination of facepalming at the damn Talking Head Cutie Map, and disappointment at the CMC getting a collective Cutie Mark that basically ignores the prior development of the characters pretty much soured the show for me; as such, I've not been able to bring myself to watch se5 or se6.

I need to change that before I can continue with this fic.

4502727 well, I don't know how to help you watch those seasons. But, the CMC have similar Cutie Marks with a collective purpose and superimposed individual talents. The similarities are what they are good at as a group, while the differences are what they bring as an individual. Get where I'm going?

Oh that's easy; Netflix has all of them.

Trouble is, I have to be in the mood to watch Netflix.
