Close to Anniversary

Well, the time comes near where my story would become one year old. Although, the first chapter may have been uploaded here in late May, but if I count the time I spent writing it, then the story is already over a year old. In any case, it makes me look back.

Seeing the story now, I consider myself half-satisfied with it. I haven't written it at the speed I'd like to write it, it has made me research interesting stuff, it doesn't seem to receive much attention, its reception is mostly positive if I can trust the Like-Dislike ratio (even if the total numbers aren't exactly high), etc. Yeah, it's a bunch of mixed feelings. Part of me thinks I could just continue as it is, but another kinda wants to strike it higher. As it is, I both want it to remain in semi-obscurity AND receive more spotlight. But well, I probably just think that because I don't believe in guessing what my future actions on this could bring. Maybe just doing what I've been doing so far will make it more noted eventually, maybe not. As it is, it's hard to decide if to do it now or leave it for later. The only outcome I know for certain is if I stopped writing altogether, and that is to say, I'm definitely not doing that.

Ah well, life goes on. Since I do have the rest of the month free, I intend to start working on the next chapter, regardless. Might even finish it before May.
