CtS: I need to fill Quantum's social life · 9:23pm Mar 13th, 2017
OK so, I've run into a problem. I've dropped Quantum into this education schtick, and I have no idea what to do for classmates, friends, enemies, etc. Of course, I have Twilight, Blueblood and Duster for now, but I need to think of new characters for other classmates, teachers and friends. There's just one problem.
I suck at making new characters.
Seriously, I'm the worst. So here's where I do the lazy man thing. What I'm gonna do is I'll open this up to the fans; if you have an OC, character idea or anything to that effect, send me it/them. What I'll need is appearance (incl. Cutie Mark), personality, and where you think the character should fit in relation to Quantum. I want to remind you that I will not be adding every submission, and that I'll likely pick the ones I think are best suited for the job.
Chances are, if I like your character enough, then they'll reoccur in CtS later down the line, and won't be a one-time thing for the school arc.
Also, I think I might eventually need a beta reader. Maybe. Probably. Yes.
Hit me up if you're interested, and we'll get talking about it. I have one or two names in my head already for this job, but whether they apply is up to them. As an incentive, I've already started on the next chapter, in an attempt to redeem my poor updating schedule and make myself not look like a shambles. So expect that soon-ish.
Finally, I've started writing a side-story for Clean the Slate, based around Quantum's first life, his origins, etcetera. I am almost certainly going to integrate it with the main story, once it reaches the point where I can introduce it.
Tl;dr: Classmates and other characters are needed (keep cringe to the minimum, please) for interaction with Quantum, and a beta reader if also maybe required. And side-story. And new chapter started.

Mane, fur, and tail color: her fur is a sandy brown color, Her mane and tail is yellow and she wears her mane in pigtails.
Cutie mark: an oasis with palm trees.
Talent: She is good at illusions.
Personality: She is very outgoing and tries to make everyone happy. She hates conflict and as such she is peacekeeper and tries to get Quantum and blueblood to become friends.
Hey, I have three brothers that you can use.
The three brothers are; Clam Mind, Skyjoy, and Rageboulder. Calm is the oldest of the three and Skyjoy is the youngest. Calm is the clam, quite, and observant one. Rage is the easiest to anger out of the three as well as the one more likely to get in a fight without any reasons. Skyjoy is the mischievous of the three and is basely like Pinkie Pie in personalty.
All three of them are planing on becoming Royal Guards when they are older. The three of them could be Quantum's bodyguards when he is older. Clam is the mediator between his younger brothers when Skyjoy does something to set off Rage. Clam's magic color is brown. The three bothers have some unique abilities; Clam can teleport instantaneously as if he is moving very fast, Skyjoy has a sixth sense that allows him to know what is happening around him when he closes his eyes, and Rage can run on any surface that he can jump on, like on walls and on the ceiling.

Appearance: Light-ish brown coat with golden blonde mane and tail.
Cutie Mark: a spell circle
Talent: Gem enchanting.
Personality: A bit of a bookworm, but will be glad to give help from spellwork to homework. Doesn't like bullies and fighting but she will take them down if the situation arises. She also likes to learn about Starswirls and his spells, more specifically, the Time spells.
Flame Arrow. Petite unicorn mare. Red with orange mane. She is smaller than average, which she overcompensates by running fast and jumping a lot.
Cutie mark: dachshund sniffing the ground. Special talent: tracker — can follow hoofprints nobody else would notice, can reconstruct a scene from subtle clues. If she's old enough, she knows a spell that makes the target's tracks glow, even on surfaces where there are no prints.
Favourite food: anything with potato in it.
Everything she does, she does with a passion. She is somewhat naive and easily influenced. In unsure situations she sticks to the rules and follows the crowd.
In my story she grew up in Canterlot and became a royal guard, putting her talent to good use, but there's no telling, where she might end up in another universe.

Race: Earth Pony

Has dark gray, almost black fur with a light blue mane. Both parents are pegasi, currently no cutie mark. though he is physically weaker than most earth ponies, he is abnormally agile and coordinated. he has a great distaste for bullies, is a grade above twilight and Quantum, first meets when defending twilight from some bullies or something. has a doting pegasus older sister.

Traits: Loves running and is incredibly agile. Very good at lightning magic which always appears red. She also can channel her own lightning over her body without being harmed which looks very intimidating.
Personality: She is quite crazy and is debatably insane. A very good prankster who knows when she has gone too far. Her pranks are the sort that most wouldn't even think of and would even prank Celestia if given the chance. When she comes up with something she finds would be an awesome prank she tends to cackle like a witch. She is loyal to her friends but still pranks them. But when asked about her Cutie Mark will always tell a different story about how she got it.

Magic appearance: A black like fire surrounded with a red outline.
Appearance:White spiky hair, with orange fire like highlights in both the mane and tail.
Hats/Wearables:Has a black fadora with an enchantment on it that makes it into a pocket space. Has a black scarf around neck.
CutieMark:A red heart with a keyhole in the center.
Talent:Can make enchantments/enchanted items(the heart), and can unlock others abilities/reveal the truth to others(the keyhole).
Personality:A pony that can be happy when she wants to sad when she wants to or emotionless when she wants to. She can make you smile in the worst situations loves to make puns out of a situation. Loves to help in almost any situation and won't leave her friends hanging.
Other:When her life is in danger or those she loves/cares for she can be powered by the most intense feelings she has experienced in her life in order to bring the fight.

Description: He is a relatively tall bat pony, his coat color is navy blue and his mane color is silver.He has average sized wings.
Personality: He is a headstrong person, never willing to back down. Around people he doesn't know, he is quiet and shy. But when he's around his friends, he is open.
Mark (when gotten): A singularity representing his talent in theoretical physics. (Looks like a dot with light coming from it)
Story: He was bullied as a kid for being a bat pony, as before Luna's return they were less common making him a target for bullying. But eventually he is recognized by a prestigious school (not the school for gifted unicorns) for his knowledge. Possibly he could meet Quantum while he's still being bullied and get moral support from Quantum.
I know I'm a bit late but I still wanted to submit my OC.

No idea if this is still being worked on, seeing as the last update was in 2018, but I might put down a character here anyway.

Species: Unicorn
Cutie mark: Shield with a snowflake on it
Talent: Slowing or stopping things (including creating energy fields which slow/stop things inside or forcefields which stop things from passing through, as well as making things colder (slow vibrating particles))
Not good at: anything that doesn't involve slowing or stopping things (especially making stuff move, this includes basic levitation)
