Should I remove the sci-fi tab from my story 'From Black Skies'? · 7:50pm Mar 4th, 2017

In my story 'From Black Skies' I put on a sci-fi tag when I first posted it due to the sci-fi tech involved and the space ship trip to Equestria, but it's not really the typical sci-fi. Even though futuristic tech (and tech in general) is going to be a factor for the humans, the tech is only going to be a futuristic version of what we already have and some technologies currently under research. So since it isn't the typical star trek type sci-fi should I remove it or keep it, or am I asking too early?
Also while I'm talking about 'From Black Skies' I want to say thanks for all of the support on the story, The next chapter will be a good bit longer than the others for reasons of character development since I can't develop the characters further with such short chapters, Thanks again for the all support.

In a while, I'm planning to make it over 8 thousand words and I have a lot of other priorities. But I'm trying to get it out soon.

No offense, but actually updating the story should be a bigger priority than a tag.
