With the Crystal Empire gone, the magic it gave the land was also gone. Now, nothing would stop chaos magic from spreading across the entire content. Soon all of Epona would feel the power of Discord.
With the princesses and the two princes of the former empire back in hiding, ponies and other creatures sought help from wherever they could, from wandering wizards to mercenaries. Any help that fended off the growing chaos. Soon rumor spread of a great and terrifying group called A.N.T.I.. This group of assassins was often called upon by any that could, to fight off the growing chaos or other things of that manner. The group was led by a viscous mare named Selena Moondie. She was so viscous that despite not being an alicorn, she was titled the name, Princess of Massacres.
As time went she and her allies took down many evils and many goods. It was unsure what side she was truly on, only that she loved killing too much. The only one with a body count as high as her’s was the infamous Killer of Millions, Cult Race. Nopony wanted anywhere near a land these two were in. It was truly a viscous nightmare. On one side, there was the chaos of Discord, on another, was either Cult Race or Selena Moondie. All hope was slowly falling apart with each year. Nothing could be done but side the lesser of evils.
As time went on more, the ponies were losing more and more of their minds as they chose the sides. Some turned to viscous killers while others dealt with the crazy chaos of Discord. Ponies were turning against each other, things were getting worse and worse.
However hidden away in the dark was the princesses. They were searching for a way to take back the land from the evils that were twisting. They couldn’t quite fight Cult Race or Selena Moondie as a battle with either of them would end badly on both sides. So the only choice was to fight Discord. Celestia had the hardest time with this. Before Discord became this great evil, she was quite close to him.
Luna, however, grew in anger, behind Celestia’s back, she began to train with the Spirit of Nightmare. And as she did she could feel a great power growing within her in the land, especially in the lands where the Crystal Empire once was. It was like a familiar smell. Like somepony very familiar was watching her from the shadows. She felt a calling to go to the north where the Crystal Empire once was. She secretly left to the land one night. Upon arriving there she was contacted by a great darkness, this darkness showed her images of a tree. A tree that had been forgotten by all. She could see that this tree was the answer. She went back to Celestia and told her of the tree, yet not of her journey.

Following the directions of the visions, the princesses found the Tree of Harmony. The tree glowed to them and opened up, giving them the remaining Elements Of Harmony. Laughter, Loyalty, Kindness, Generosity, Honesty, and Friendship.
They took the Elements of Harmony and began training with them. Soon they became masters of the gems. The time arrived for them to confront Discord. Celestia was still hesitant, but she knew what need to be done. She would have to put her feeling aside, no matter how strong they were. They needed to put a stop to Discord’s way.
As they left, Celestia and Luna felt they needed to stop hiding their secret. There was so much to tell. And it had to be told, no matter what. Luna told Celestia of her vision and the voices of Nightmare. Celestia told her that once this was over she would try to help her get past this evil within her. Celestia herself decided to reveal something that she had been keeping secret since before Discord’s rise to power. She revealed that she had found out that Discord was, in fact, Starswirl. Discord had told Celestia this during the events of Redsting Imprisonment. Luna was slightly taken back by this. But in the end, she accepted this. Not matter who Discord was. Whether he was a close friend or their old teacher, they had to defeat him.
They finally arrived at the throne of Discord. They tried reasoning with him, but he wouldn’t falter. So with heavy hearts, they used the Elements of Harmony to imprison Discord in stone.
Upon Discord imprisonment, the chaos he unleashed began to fade. With the disappearing chaos magic, came what was assumed to be a new time of peace. Shangri-La was rebuilt, the ponies came out hiding and could move free again. Even the vicious murderers Selena Moondie and Cult Race seemingly went into hiding. This seemed like peace for all.
Things were turning even greater as for some unknown reason, the Crystal Empire suddenly returned. It was back, however, there was a new king on the throne……………
