Didn’t do much, if any, story writing yesterday. Instead I focused on writing for some animation I’ve got planned down the track after I've finished LLtK.
Anywhat. Chapter 7 is getting biiig. Though I’m a little reluctant to split it up at this point in time...since it’s not finished. But I’m betting that I will have to once it's done - to save readers having to scroll through a big wall of text. I know my eyeballs get sore reading through a 10,000 word chapter on the internet. I much rather finish reading at that start of a new chapter then try and find the spot I left throughout a big massive wall of text.
I've came to realise as well that keeping a timer on myself when I write has also proven rather effective in keeping me writing. As it keeps me gauged as to ‘i am writing now, this is what I’ve written.’ It gives me a sort of focus to know, time is ticking, time is moving, so I should be writing. And so on. It feels kinda good to look over how many new things I've written and edited and how much time has passed that I have spent on it. (Which I've managed approximately 1,800 words almost every 4 hours with Ch. 7)
Also doing some writing research...so I can, I don’t know, write better, I suppose.
