I know only about half of you still come to FIMfiction, in all likelihood, but thank you nonetheless! I know stories have been sparse lately, but really I've felt the desire to step away from writing, and to an extent pony, for a little while. I've actually been getting into some other things over the last month and a half.

Like been playing more board games with my family. We currently sit down every couple of nights to play "Munchkin" or "The Red Dragon Inn", on top of a growing stable of different games. I also have "Betrayal at House on the Hill", but we usually don't have time for a full game of that. It's a fantastic game, though.

I also played through the entirety of "Resident Evil VII". This is a pretty kickass game, it takes the old RE formula and applies it to new-age graphics and gameplay for something fresh, fun, and really, really intense. I loved it.

I've also been playing "Criminal Girls Invite Only" on Steam. I love RPG's, and this is... a really weird one, but there's a chill feeling to it too. Like, I can lean back in my chair with a mouse in my hand just vegetating away while I play it. I appreciate games I can play with one hand but still have a degree of depth to them. It runs like crap, even for a PS Vita port, but there are workarounds.

I also watched most of the "Total Drama" series over the last few months, from Season 2 up to "The Ridonculous Race" (minus season 3, which is weirdly absent from NetFlix). I actually think The Ridonculous Race is my favorite season since the original. It feels fresh, and has more fun with its characters, but I know I'm in the minority.

After that I'm on the most recent season of "Adventure Time." A series which has its super neat moments and elements, but a lot of just... weirdness mixed in. I like it, though.

At the same time I've been archiving some of my personal favorite stories of all time on the website "Archive of Our Own". My pen name there is "DragonShadow". All of the stories there are from either here or Fanfiction.Net, but it lacks the weird fluff my Fanfiction.Net has. This is only my personal favorites, the best of the best. It's not finished yet, but I'm working on it.

I'm not leaving the fandom, I just thought I'd let you all know what's been going on. I'll probably pick up a bit when the next EG movie/episodes (whatever they're making) air, and the FiM series proper kicks up again. Also looking forward to the movie, despite some of the characters looking like they stepped out of old-school Disney cartoons as opposed to MLP. I hope in the meantime you all have a great life, and I'll post up anything I write as I finish it.
