All Art Is Quite Useless

When I'm not writing stories, I'm writing essays. My keyboard sees fairly frequent use. University student, high functioning Rainbow Dash enthusiast, and satirical activist.

An Update · 11:34am Feb 8th, 2017

First off, I'm glad to say that the feedback I've received on my first fic so far has for the most part been extremely useful. It's nice to see just what elements of my writing people appreciate, and what can be touched up on.

At this moment, I'm currently planning to move into the third arc of Big Tavi Lil Tavi Cardboard Box, which I'm very much looking forward to writing.

Currently, I've received extensive feedback on the first two chapters of my story, and I have realised I have a few changes to implement as soon as I have the chance. (I also need to send the poor guy that had to read it a full reply, something I plan to do asap.) I currently have another pre-reader looking through the entire story, and I'm discussing/refining future fic ideas with a couple of people. The fact that all of these legends people are willing to engage with me, in order to help me with my first attempt at creating something readable is a testament to the generosity inherent to this site. I'm extremely happy to have the assistance.

A warning: I will be going dark over the valentines weekend, and possibly for a couple of days after. (You may not get an update for roughly six days from Friday.) Unfortunately, I already have a very busy lifestyle, and don't feel that it's fair on my girlfriend to ignore her over valentines purely to write horse words, even if I do get that itch to write. I may manage to get one update in. After that though, everything will return to normal. Most of my university work isn't due in until March, so I've got ample time on my hands.

I'd like to thank everyone who has read my story so far, especially those that have commented and all that good stuff. All of your support fuels my motivation, and helps me to put out more, as well as encouraging me to identify and fix errors in my existing writing. I'll mention now that I plan to begin another story this month, to run along with BTLTCB. These stories won't necessarily be based in the same universe, but may be. I haven't decided.

Also, I'm waiting on a couple of reviews. Looking forward to these because it'll give me more feedback to work with, and hopefully some of that desperately needed exposure. Also, I like being scored on things.

Anyways, I'm running pretty late for class.
